- Assembly, painting, clearcoating and polishing the body of the plastic model car Nissan Z (RZ34) in scale 1/24 Tamiya 24363.
The body consists of several parts, namely the roof as a separate part. This facilitates coloring with different colors. The body also consists of separate rear and front bumper and side sills. To avoid different color tones, I glue them in advance. In addition, this does not interfere with further assembly. I also glue the fuel lid and door handles in advance so that after paintwork there is a homogeneous surface without visible steps.
Paint is a mix of yellow and pearl white as it done in the instructions to represent the Ikazuchi Yellow color. However, the mixture 1 to 1 seemed pale to me and I added a little more yellow to my eye.
for clearcoating was used urethan uhs clearcoat from a large can for car repair shops. Godhand sanding sponge with further polishing with MEGUIARS paste were used.

thanks mate! :)
Where did you get that mini polishing? Seems to work great. Awesome finish!!
polishing sponge? found it on aliexpress. the tool is proxxon micromot.
where did you get those little clamps? I need to find some of those
i got it in art/craft/diy department in local store
Finally, I coudn’t wait!!
i did it finally :)

I'm disappointed that it does not have a complete engine, but newer cars don't have many features under the hood.
newer cars has only big plastic cover under the hood :)

I wonder how TS97 pearl yellow from the spray can would compare? Awesome work. I have one I’ll start after new year.
i don t know, must try it before, may be it is also ok.
Excellent! 素晴らしい!! Nice sculpting out of some of the extra plastic in the door handles. 👍🏻 I think it’s funny that Tamiya made the gasoline flap a separate piece 🤔. Oh, and that yellow mix you created looks perfect.
Thank you very much! the separate gasoline flat gives a nice deep panel line, so i think.
Super Job, genial 👍👍👏👏❤️❤️
Thank you very much!
The yellow paint is so beautiful!👍👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you! looks nice :)
You should list the times between each step.
