if mad city comes back it’d be best for them to make like small new cool. Features like jetoack upgrades ,birds ,traps ,maybe even a heist creator wich would spin the most liked community made robbery each hour or two,a new detective role solving mysteries, these are the types of updates that these games need
I think the main problem is that we just all grew up and mad city doesn't hit the same as it did 4-5 years ago

They had to though. The devs quit and the game was really buggy. So they had to remake the game completly.

@@7403151 The reasons why they did change it was because they wanted to balance out mad city. I personally like the old mechanics myself, wish it would return but the dev's literally does not give 2 flying fucks about the game now.
The reason why mad city is died, because mad city is roasting players when they are dead, and players are quitted because of roasting. (it is reason)

i talked to an old dev he said that the devs are working on a new game but if mc updates there wil be a change of stone prison releasing cuz its already finished for months now...

@@haroon148 Honestly i think the devs in schwifty team can only prosper by letting mad city take a back burner. they may return to the prison escape genre at some point with new energy. i doubt its fully a monetary decision to back off mad city, just a guess but- considering the immediacy of backlash post ch2 release would be a hard pill to swallow after two years of work devoted to making the ch2 experience an elevation of ch1. I hope one day the Taymaster returns to CH1 as a re-release and puts his stamp on it along with those who added to the weight of a very strong vibe within a simple game concept. all the best, have a great day

Man I feel like what they should do is make a live event. This can boost players, if they do a live event where they go back and they revert back I’m sure a bunch of people will play. Chapter 1 was the only reason mad city is so popular. Chapter 2 did nothing it never gained players. It’s either bots or new players playing. I really hope they take initiative and focus on something important for the game. Also I checked up on Gemini twitter and I see a lot of people tagging him asking when mad city gonna update. From what I remeber he said he’s on some speaking order which is super weird. 🤔

as an og player (season 4) its really sad to see mad city left like this with no updates and game optimisation. i came back a week ago after quitting ROBLOX for almost a year (i was inactive but still played a bit)
A hashtag should be launched to bring back chapter 1 and revive mad city
Otherwise they should make a separate mode where they put chapter 1, a bit like Big Games with Paintball
Simple solution: bring back the old mad city

its both the developers' fault and the community being ungrateful after the release of chapter 2
i could go on talking about the issues and stuff about mad city but i cannot be arsed anymore because its not worth it anymore
ive always loved mad city and still do but i completely quit it nowadays
but hey, everything good one day comes to an end
jailbreak may be slowing down development too but atleast they average 20-25k players on the weekends, unlike mad city at 2.5K.
If u read it mad city is under development and it paused, they said in the update log they will return soon so goodbye mad city for now
It's kinda too late for the dev's to bring back mad city to what it was known as... The updates just didn't satisfy the players which caused the players to stop playing the game. I personally agree that chapter 1 was definitely more enjoyable since it was simpler and more compared to chapter 2 it just doesn't feel the same anymore. The dev's just fails to understand that the community prefer chapter 1 then chapter 2 so like yeah... I think that's a wrap with my yap session.
Worst thing about mad city is that the dev team makes promises they can’t keep and from what I heard so far that’s the exact same problem with the blox fruits devs
i was grinding every single day to get max lvl on blox fruits and i just couldnt keep up whit all the updates so im playing mad city again
2019 A legendary game was born
2020 The rise of madcity, appearing on the front page of popular game with a 50k average players and being able to compete Jailbreak
2021 Still at a very good state with huge amount of players
2022 Eh barely updates but still a decent fun game
2023 Game starts to get a lil boring and some players starts to lose interest waiting for updates
2024 The old original madcity we love is gone.. all lefts are the New Madcity the old is gone.. the city we used to roam around the map we used to explore its all gone everything everything is gone the original madcity is gone..on the Chapter 2 update saw the downfall of the game thats seemingly popular throughout roblox its not just an ordinary game but a work of art by Taymaster and his other fellow developers. I mean chapter 1 was good though but even before the chapter 2 after i can notice that madcity is starting to lose players. Game is at its downfall but will continue to live with an average 1.5k players. Oh thank you SchiftyStudios for the memories in that game to those i met throughout the years of me playing madcity those who i fight and teamed up with it was nice meeting you...

The game was already ass after season 7 that was the Times where the spark of enjoyment i had in that game died cause there was few updates since they worked on the “Recode” which turned into ch2, this is coming from a player who started in season 4, the only reason to play mad city in ch1 season 7 was just to pvp which carried the game i was enjoying the pvp but i liked westbound better

U clearly was the one who kept getting killed in chapter 1. 😂 because I don’t know what ur on. PvP mechanics were so much better. Robbery’s were fun and you didn’t have to do boring task. The game was much more enjoyable.

@@JoshuaJoseph-fs4moi was like a lvl 150 in season 7 back it in its first release and i can tell you that ch1 pvp mechanics are the sole reason madcity was alive if it had like a different pvp mechanic the game wouldve died before chapter 2 came out, but i didnt really enjoy chapter 1 season 7 and chapter 2 its cause probably i just grew up and didnt really feel like a sweaty shithead anymore
