Prayers for James

These are some of the many prayers James received from his Instagram friends when he was sick this Spring 2019. We are forever thankful for these prayers. Every day we visited James in the ICU, I read these prayers out loud to him. Usually with tears in my eyes and tears running down my cheeks.
When we were in Europe, James only drank bottled water. When we came back to the US this year, we gave James tap water. James quickly got tear stains on his face - those reddish rust colored areas around his eyes and mouth. We talked to a vet that said he probably wasn't used to the pH of the tap water in Florida and we should switch him back to bottled water. James is now back on bottled distilled water and all of those tear stains you see in this video are gone.
We don't know what caused James to get sick. He had an anal gland that was infected. Then the vets think he had a reaction to the antibiotics. James had two 4 day visits to the ICU where he stayed on fluids. We are so thankful he is now recovering!
