You get to be in his world for about 90 minutes. They replicated the When Doves Cry video room and so many other things. So much music and exhibitions with costumes and guitars. And an awesome gift shop! I'm sitting in my Purple Rain shorts as I type this LOL. You're so awesome. Thanks for the awesome episode!! 💜

Wow first time I see him perform Scandalous……Im speechless 😮 adore this song one of my top 3…..but everything every sound, moves everything he did was outh of this world……never ever forget you adorable Prince……love you with all my 💜

I shed a tear not because I'm sad but happy that those people on the other side of the world got to see him perform and know what I've known since I was 9yrs old 40 yrs ago, that being alive when Prince was making music is such a blessing. I only saw him 4x and those were the best concerts I've ever seen. I lived in northern Indiana and saw him in Chicago, Grand Rapids, MI, Indianapolis, and in OKC. His best shows though were in Minneapolis, Detroit, LA, and Tokyo. Detroit though, man those shows were lit. Do u have a playlist of the Prince videos you've seen on your channel?

Fabulous yet again! 🥰 looks like you’ve just checked out the first show. Check out show 2 which is a bit more guitar heavy but the stand out vocals for me is a song called ‘I love u but I trust you anymore’ I swear you will cry! It’s so emotional … you will react like you did to Elixir, his vocals are so heartbreaking and raw, it’s outstanding. Also at the end of show 2 he does an amazing performance of Purple Rain which brings me to tears and Purple Rain isn’t even close to being my favourite track. But this time, you can feel what it means to him 💜 but to hear these you need to check out show 2 xx

I always liked Prince's original version of Nothing Compares 2 U, compared to Sinead O'Connors. Prince's is less whiny, more funky/bluesy. He was unbelievably talented on so many levels.
I haven’t heard Sinead O’Conners version in a minute! I need to listen again to compare them.. 🤔 but it’s Prince song so of course his version is the best. But then again, you have artists like Whitney Houston who took “I’m every women” Chaka’s song and make it her very own! 🥰
@@malakiasplayhouse I agree that some artitsts' cover versions become 'the' version. Jimi Hendrix's All Along the Watchtower is, for me, his song. I believe Bob Dylan has said the same thing, lol, and has even taken some of Jimi's changes when he plays it. Also Proud Mary, a CCR original, is really Ike & Tina's now. Same with Blinded by the Light, originally by Bruce Springsteen, but Manfred Mann now 'owns' it. For Nothing Compares 2 U, Sinead made is so popular, but it's very angsty and I would say 'whiny', but of course beatifully sung. Prince's style is just more my preference, more lively, sassy, funky etc, but most people will only think of Sinead and many don't even know Prince wrote it.

I never really listen to “Scandalous” I was too stuck on “The Future” and of course “Batdance” 😂
