From the new expression Pico makes as the battle goes on, to the homages from the original animation, there was a LOT of love put into this! Super sick! This mod is going well above and beyond!
I feel like a lot of people didn’t notice, so I want to point out this song is on a mod called Friday Night Funkin’ Online VS. This is the same mod that brought the Accelerant Hank and recently introduced Uberkids vs Pico and Eddsworld Songs. They are located in the Challenges section of the mod.
My favorite part is how when Pico uppercuts the last Uber kid and everything stops, Nene and Darnell are still bopping, meaning that Pico just posed midair in real time
I love how in the beginning of the song, Pico basically cuts them off and shoots them before they can finish their verse, showing how he doesnt care about what they have to say or how fire their bars are.
love the part at 0:31 , it's basically showing that the uberkid is trying to finish their notes, but pico immediately ruins it just to make the uberkids even more pissed off.
I hope we see more Pico stuff like this in the future, just him having his own spin on the formula where he goes up against hordes as Nene and the other guy defend him from the background (I forgot his name, don’t judge) Edit: His name is Darnell! Thank you King Isaac in the replies!

I NEVER KNEW I NEEDED THIS IN MY LIFE, THE WHOLE THING IS GREAT. The song is great, I was vibing the whole time. I never played the Pico games, but I see the references and love them. Pico went hard, I loved how he breakdanced, and slowly got more unhinged as he killed them. Nene and Darnell are the best, Darnell burning faces and Nene stabbing them in the head. There is nothing to dislike, I need to to get into the Pico games more, goodnight. Boutta put this on repeat.
You can hear the "hiss-fwoosh" sound of Darnell's flamethrower igniting throughout the song(at 0:19, 0:24, etc if you wanna check for yourself). That is a REALLY nice touch.
I love the songs that instead of being more music based, are more sound effect based if that makes sense. Uber kids and picos vocals are both more centered around beatboxing sounds and notices compared to boyfriends style of vocals leaning more towards actual singing
The fact that he shot the cable wire on the tow truck was just gold. The detail in this mod is astounding. Even the expression of the faces both parties is fire. I love it! It's just as good as the original video from years ago.
This was absolute nostalgia for me, I remember watching Pico animations on Newgrounds and playing that one Russian Roulette Pico game, and this just floods back memories to me that I almost forgot that I had.
I love this, and I have to say, the Überkids sound kind of....mechanical. like around 1:44 seconds, it just sounds like some kind of hatch. And i love it.
Somewhere around 89 Uberkids died during this video. Nene killed 22 of them. Darnell killed 20 of them. Pico killed 47 of them. 39 of Pico's kills were while he was breakdancing.
It's cool how after the bus crashes into the uberkid, not only do the next ones come in super pissed, but the dynamic shifts so that Pico is leading the song instead
Darnell seems underrated in the Newgrounds topic in general. I think Darnell needs attention too, if there's a mod for both Pico and Nene, not to mention THIS masterpiece.
One thing I noticed is that when Pico uses the bus, he takes the lead of the song, making HIM the aggresor. Plus, he's having the time of his life with that murderous grin. Poggers

the left side has a turn that isnt copied by pico at the very end, which kinda makes up for the huge solo pico has earlier in the song. even without that, funky friday automatically balances out the scores so both sides get the same amount of points, so the left side kinda gets it easier
