Thankyou Bro Thankyou for your greate efforts for giving these amazing and very enjoyfull views. Carry on your appreciable job. God bless to you and your this good job
I was a 23 yrold pommie field engr on the 180ml Dampier (King Bay) to Mt Tom Price (Hamersley Iron) railroad in 1965 to when it opened on July1, 1966. Then only 3 locos 2000, 2001, 2002, one train per day in each direction. Single track most of the way then. Jarra wood sleepers from SW Australia, later replaced w/concrete sleepers. During a cyclone, the normally dry Fortescue River flooded through the then-new 12ft dia culverts (not shown in this particular video) and washed them downstream by more than half a mile. Bit embarrassing for the MKMM contractors. Earlier videos show 3 diesels at the front, 2 in the middle and 2 at the back. Are the newer locos more powerful or what? Anyone know? Still get a visceral thrill from the LF throb of those GE locos as they pass.
yes the new locomotive are ac traction and have oversized traction motors for 4500hp. our GE plant here in ft. worth texas is building 20 brand new ones to send down there. they are finishing the final ones this week or next. they will be 9129 thru 9149
@@chopperking1122 Take another look. Can you see anyone in the cab? It's possible there was a driver onboard who'd ducked down into the toilet for a leak right at that moment during what was known as the 'attended' phase of RoboTrain but the blue lights are on so the train is driving itself. Driverless trains have been running around in the testing phase since 2017 or maybe even 2016 and went full on in September 2018. I came back from an overnight job to Tom Price on my last shift before going on holidays in late August 2018 and when I got back a few weeks later, running from the coast to Tom Price and beyond was a thing of the past.
I Love the VIDEO ....
SALUDOS : from new York....
A giant steel snake filled with the very earth it treads upon, in the most picturesque environment. Humans are amazing.
Oh and now they are driverless/autonomous, controlled with X-box consoles from Perth, 1000km away!
nice video bro

Great video M&S
The empty at 4.30 has the blue lights on the cab roof and you can clearly see there is no one in the cab.
To see how an autonomous train is set up. check out ruclips.net/video/BDbfDUqPm8E/видео.html
there had to be someone in it , driverless trains were introduced in 2019 , and these videos were recorded in 2015
