Glamping In Tuscany~Campiglia Marittima~Italian Summer~Family Travel ~Il Casagno Toscana Glamping

This past summer we traveled 9 straight weeks in Europe. In the next part of our trip we spent one month traveling through Italy. Our second Italian destination was Campiglia Marittima Stop #6 on our Summer travel extravaganza.
We found a really cute Glamping resort located just outside an amazing medieval town just a 15 min walk into town. The kids enjoyed the relaxed vibe of the resort and the welcoming pool to cool down after a day of exploring. We may have even had the best pizza in Italy in this quant little town which was the perfect spot to hang out for 3 days and get in some R&R before another long travel day to our next destination, Elba Island.
Campiglia, situated on a hill from which it dominates both sea and countryside, is one of the most beautiful medieval villages of the Tuscan Coast. The old town is surrounded by the stunning city walls and with its paved alleys and the 15th century Palazzo Pretorio it exudes great architectural harmony.
Campiglia Marittima is a comune in the Province of Livorno in the Italian region of Tuscany, located about 90 kilometres southwest of Florence and about 60 kilometres southeast of Livorno. It is a member of the I Borghi più belli d'Italia ("The most beautiful villages of Italy")
