    Thank God I found you. I am a bilingual spanish tutor for elementary children in central valley CA. This is a very rewarding job; however, I have a child who is five and in desperate need of therapist but the school hasn't hired one for him. This will help so, so, helpful. His unable to communicate with his parents who speak spanish only, and his little brain cannot translate between both languages. . God Bless you and your family. I truly recommend Mrs. Sellers.

    You are such an inspiration as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant! I just posted a video on speech and language activities to do at home with your child. It's so important for parents to get involved.

    I have a 6 yr old who have dravet syndrome, which causes her to have developmental and a speech delay. She receives speech therapy through the school but I think she needs more. This will be very helpful, thank you.

    Thank you. Thank you. Your video was very helpful. My 2-year old niece has a repaired cleft palate and I need tools to help her. This both confirmed some thoughts I had (us adults articulating clearing and letting her watch our mouths as we speak) and taught me lots of new things. I want to be able to help her until she can see a professional. I will check out your website. Thank you so much for posting!

    You are so amazing!!! I've been combing through RUclips to find some information on how to get my 2.5 to better articulate her letters. She's been having trouble saying S and F and I've been considering speech therapy, but with COVID going on, I'm been reluctant to have her start now (sigh). Your video was not only super informative, but interesting and straight to the point! Very interested in your workbook and will be visiting your site. Thank you for your videos and enthusiasm!

    My first time commenting on any video to say "thank you very much". Good method, clearly presented, and I'm heading for your website for materials now. I, too, really needed this for a 3 year old until the time when she can be assessed at the pre-school in Fall. I will try this during the summer...here goes, wish me luck! And God Bless You!

    Do you get many students with cochlear implants? What do you see is the difference between the clarity in speech with and without? Are their techniques to provide comparable results with each?

    I know this is video from some time ago, but do you have this still available to download. I have a student who is at the phonological processing stage but unintelligible. Using this with the cycles approach I feel will give great results. Thank you.

      Yes, I have the information on how to download the activity book in the description box. Since this video, I have now created two add-on activities books for ending sounds for the sounds in the original book and beginning and ending sounds for /t and d/. If you want an instant download, please visit my Etsy Shop: www.etsy.com/shop/SpeechLanguageBeyond?ref=seller-platform-mcnav

      Outstanding!! Thank you. Yes he has FCD as well, so I will eventually use those as well. Due to him being so young and speaking different languages, his delay may be dialectical, however I'm still going to use all these techniques as auditory bombarding! I have faith, hell start producing consonant sounds!!! Love your page!!!

    Thank you for this video! I'd like to know if its okay to teach several letters in one session or 1 letter only per session?

    • @SpeechLanguageBeyond
      @SpeechLanguageBeyond  7 лет назад +1

      Amanda Gono - I base that decision off of the severity of their articulation difficulties. But starting with one at a time would probably be easier in the beginning.
