Just an FYI, it's very important to lick the lense of the camera because it helps to keep waterspots off of the lense. Robbie knows what he's doing and he is one of the best photog's ever to film with a GoPro, super stoked this clip got to be shared on this channel.

If you go behind the waves here, you can slowly swim onto the top of one and literally sit on it while it falls in. I've done it, it's amazing. If you haven't been to the wedge, come!

Insane. We used to skimboard the wedge and once in a blue moon when the waves were down to 1-2 foot swells (almost never) we would bodyboard because as one can see, those waves crash directly on the beach. We didn't often see other people doing it either... that's some batshit crazy people!

Everybody seems surprised that he licks the camera. If you own a gopro you know its how you keep water from beading on the lens and messing up the shot. Give it a good lick and when u dunk it under water it will have a solid layer of water over the lens, so no water spots. Reapply as needed :)
