I admired your work ethic, focus and willingness to learn. It is very difficult to focus these days and especially in the cybersecurity, we easily get frustrated to study something. There are tons of things to study and usually the problem is to know the end goal & destination.
Second problem is about getting rid of the tutorial hell and doing some practical hands-on experience.

How many hours of sleep do you usually aim for? 4:30am is definitely an early start to the day!

I try and get at least 6-7 but can function on 4. I normally sleep in on the weekends and get a nice 8-10 hours to catch up.
Yeah it is an early start I tend to structure it around the morning prayer.

Hey Cyber Salih , really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with Best Quality Editing in your videos which visually appeal to audience and would increase average view duration and will also make a highly engaging Thumbnail which will overall help your videos to reach to a wider audience ? Pls let me know what do you think ?

Masha'Allah... I got my Applied IT bachelor from Australia. I currently live in Morocco doing my first cybersecurity course (SOC Analyst) . Any advise? Asalamu Alikum.

      Walaikumasalam,
Yes, focus on study off course and getting new skills.
But also, build your brand - you don’t have to be an influencer but you need to have a good linked in that is optimised to the role you’re seeking. Write a killer CV and constantly improve it, get good at writing cover letters and the application process as a whole.
Many people focus on building skills but have a bad linked in and bad CV and never get roles - even though they are brilliant technically.

@@cyber_salih Thanks akhi... amazing how companies care about the look of a CV than skills. I thought I would be on point/direct and honest about what I know and what I can do. I worked as a computer technician for about 9 years and I have never been asked to present a killer CV except my skills. Kheyr Insha'Allah... I heard that it's always important to establish links with the people who are in the cybersecurity field because of their experience, advice, and finding a job.
      Jazaka'Allah kheyr....

@@StrangerInMorocco2023 yeah the CV just gets you more interviews and at that point skills and interview skills become important. With 9 years of experience I am sure you’ll do fine.

@@cyber_salih Yes, I mostly dealt with the networking side and some basic security like file sharing policy, users policy, password policy, email, print sharing, troubleshooting, and changing parts.
