hey, take a look at the little top part of the mini brands sphere package. paint it black and it becomes a trivet to set a hot pot or tea pot on. also, you can always glue the slices back into a sphere, add a wire loop to hang it with, then modge podge a wonderful Christmas napkin, poinsettias work great, but anyscene that will mod around the ball, and you have a nice light weight, but large Christmas ornament. great for those weak branches of a real tree.
The real champion here was that hole punch! I have a few of those punches, hsve no idea what they are called, in various designs. But I don't think I hsve just a circle... hearts, leaves, stars, sure, but I will have to search for a circle. Cause that made this project super worth it!
Guess how many you think you are going to need then double it is more true than not in crafting. A large hole punch can run around $15 but there are coupons and sales. It is an investment but if you're going to need 45 or so circles, it might be worth it to save your sanity and hands. It can also help make plates. And good on Bella for calling out your work. You taught her well.
I won a John Watson (Martin Freeman) 1:6 figure at 221bcon in April. It's been fun trying to recreate civilian John's wardrobe. Etsy has been very helpful! I think I need to find him some coffee and a slice of cheesecake now...

Hello! I think your cheesecake looks amazing! I do think the paint/glue on the sides helped with all the lines. For the coffee cups, maybe if you have a hand drill you can drill a hole in the handles? And for the saucers, if you don't want that design on them, you can use nail polish remover. your mini food crafts are always so cute!!! the lines on the side would work really well if you alternated stacks of cream and brown cardstock and made a crepe cake, bc it’s supposed to have distinct layers!
Happy New Year! Didn't know that Amazon is selling action figure heads! By the way, instead of using the adapter that comes with some of these heads, I put a gob of poster putty inside the cavity of the head and then put the head on the ball joint on the action figure body. The putty can hold the head in place pretty well and it give you a lot of head movement. Also, you may want to look into action figure bodies that come with double jointed arms. Look for the "slim" versions as those bodies allows more sharing of clothes with Ken.

I think the paper blueberries look better on the cheesecake than the make it mini blueberries! The paper really gives that kinda mushy look that you get when you put blueberries in a syrup like that.

If you had them, I think 2mm seed beads would make good blueberries or cherries for the tops of cheesecakes. Dollar tree sometimes has them.

I like the homemade version more, plus you could make a bunch of plain cheesecakes and then a variety of toppings. Yum!

Fun foam sheets would also work for the cheesecake, I think. They would take fewer layers. But I think your paper ones look amazing!

What if you use fun foam sheets instead of card stock? It’s thicker, stickers together pretty well and takes paint well.
