- The crush of the rush hour in Tokyo has been improved for these decades. But it is still crazy. Shinjuku Station, used by 3.6 million people per day, was registered with Guinness World Records as the busiest station in the world in 2007. Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Station, Mumbai, India is in 2nd place, Ikebukuro Station, 5 km north of Shinjuku Station, is in 3rd place, Osaka-Umeda Station in Osaka is in 4th place, Shibuya Station which is 3 km south of Shinjuku Station is in 5th place.
Four of top five in the world are in Japan and three of them are within a 4 km radius. Probably 90% of the world's population live in central Tokyo.

I've been to shinjuku station and have witnessed how busy it is during rush hour. Makes london vinctoria seem like some sort of village station.
their silence , compliance & obedience is very Orwellian

It can take like one hour go around Shinjuku station, like in my video, it tooks 10 minutes to find the right exit from the metro.

It could be hard to say Japan is multicultural though a lot of cultures from other culture area were brought to Japan. It's actually weird for me as well there's almost no other race in this video. There are a lot of people from all over the world in Tokyo -- it's not so many when comparing with other international cities like London or N.Y. though.

Crime!? Living in the uk for more than 10 years, Uk's far more dangerous than tokyo. Japan is the safest country in the world and I have to admit through my experience.
