I unfortunately agree with comments saying that your makeup looks are kind of similar to one another (although it is pretty). :( Sorry. I totally understand though because I do this a lot too. So...what if you did a monthly makeup challenge, where you do one thing different with your makeup based on popular suggestions from followers? Your followers can support you by posting their looks on Instagram etc as well. That way you can step out of your makeup comfort zone, add more interest to the videos and interact with your followers. It sounds kind of fun right? :D
You may have already done this but I have prom at the beginning of July and would love for you to do a prom look that's pretty but you use products that you know will last and look good in pictures, I'm going to do a Sephora order to the uk but I would love for you to recommend some good long wearing products ☺️

You would LOVE the Norma Jean color in those CT shadows. Kinda like MAC Rubenesque but not a warm, just brightening and beautiful! Perfect no fuss, no makeup/makeup shadow.
Hi Anna, you are my favorite youtuber and I normally don't comment under videos, but I really felt like I needed to say this. I think a lot of the more negative comments stem from you no longer doing weekly vlogs, a lot of your viewers watch you for your personality and not so much for the make-up tutorials. Hence, the lighting or the strong similarity of looks start to bother people when there is not much else to focus on. I loved the vlogs and I miss them too, but completely feel it's your choice and it shouldn't be anyone's 'job' to vlog their personal life. But how about doing some different kinds of videos that are vlog-like and chatty? I loved your tips on beauty shopping in London, couldn't you do these kinds of blog-posts in videos, vlogging yourself going to these shops as well? That way we get some more of you in the videos and some variation as well. Still love the minimal style too, by the way :)

I know everyone's entitled to an opinion but God lighten up, what does it really matter if there's 'not a single drugstore product' or if she said 'cocktease' at least Anna's not putting on some squeaky clean act like some other well known you tubers out there. Such - petty criticisms. Keep up what you do Anna! x
Thank you so much for this comment! I don't see an issue with high end products- heck it's not like she's forcing viewers to buy them. People can easily find drugstore dupes on their own. I prefer the non drugstore options at times since they often have a variety of shades (it kills me when I see Rimmel foundation being used since they don't have a single dark shade). People need to get off the cocktease thing. She's not some 12 year old...
I really don't have a problem with these videos featuring somewhat similar looks. I only wear mostly neutral looks myself so these are actually more helpful/relevant to me! :)
Not to be *that person*, but I hate when I'm pronouncing a word, or especially a name, wrong, and no one tells me, so: Bette (in this case) is pronounced Betty. Bette Davis was a famous film star, and "Bette Davis eyes" is a pretty famous phrase/comparison. (But with Bette Midler, it's 'bet'... Confusing, I know. lol!)

Scarlett Wilson its not that we want to see dramatic tutorials. its just that we want to see some kind of difference between each 'look' that anna wears. it just becomes predictable. 'different' and 'variety' doesnt have to mean 'dramatic'. just saying that if someone has such a magnificent makeup collection, you'd hope to see more use out of it than every look looking the same!
I agree with the 'repetitive video' comments. However, I like you as a makeup guru so I'm going to continue to support but a lot of your makeup looks are very similar and I barely notice a difference. Since you only put up 2 or 3 videos a week, I need more variety to keep me wanting to watch and be subscribed.
I need that Charlotte tilbury eyeshadow it's stunning against your green eyes. The powder looks lovely too but I'm holding out for the cream blush from her Norman Parkinson collection & maybe the cream bronze & glow (I have the powder version but love cream products atm.) & if you love that Mac peach Melba blush you will love *need* the new Dior blush from their Dip dye collection the coral peachy one... It is gorgeous and well worth the price *sigh* x
