- Newcastle United have been halted on stadium plans as an land owner has built a fence to apply pressure on the club #nufc #newcastle #stadium
With all this bs I would just build a new stadium somewhere else
aye they will spend a billion quid to avoid a fence problem like :)
@@Bob-uu3ttno they will spend a billion to move with the times. Like Spurs have 65k to 75k Stadium needed like a Man City set up etc like a campus with all training facilities and other amentities which will in the long run be massive for PSR😊
@@ericengleby265They are one of the largest investment funds on the planet, forget all that sports washing shite they are here to make money. How long would it take to recoup an investment of a billion quid for another 15k seats? Their stated main aim is grow the club as a global brand, that's the future and where the real money is, not an arse on a seat. Manchester United are not valued at 6 billion because they have 20k more seats its because they have an estimated 1 billion fans worldwide. Eventually all those in the ground will just be wallpaper for a global TV audience and if that's 52k or 75 that does not matter. They already carried out a feasibility study that cost a fortune on expanding St James' Park, and that is what they will do as far as they can because that is the cheaper option.
I would have to agree
Only SJP
Its owned by Steve Parish
The club should build on Leazes Park as part of a wider leisure facility better for the city, the club, the supporters.
£75 million?
you know you're an obsessed Newcastle fan when you spend your free time watching videos of a lad talk about a fence ahahhaa
I did not realise the full extent of the problems facing PIF. Possibly a new stadium complex is the way forward.
Nobody ever does. All the all-knowing twitter experts have absolutely zero real world experience. They just think it's Football Manager IRL or FIFA.
If it was that easy......
The real world has bureaucracy (stadium land in the video), egos (Steve Parish) among a million other things they have to deal with and the negligence of the previous regime. They've been increasing our revenue year on year by something like 30%. If your financial advisor got you a 30% return every year you'd be heralding him as a genius but the reality is we're still earning around half of what the top clubs are.
There are no quick fixes. Real world business isn't as glamorous as it looks on Instagram and there are no quick dopamine hits. There's a reason your twitter experts for all their "insight" don't have any real world success to show for it. PIF have a MAMMOTH task ahead of them.
Building a new stadium would solve all the problems.
Exactly
Probably bring its own problems ha
On what land? Where?
@@toonnut1 Leazes park or land beside Gosforth park racecourse. it may be unpopular with some fans but if the club are to compete with City and Liverpool then it has to be done.
Only SJP
I can't decide whether I find it funny or not. I'm on the fence.
😅
This landowner is not doing anything different as to how the Duke of Northumberland conducts his land extortion to everyone!
Build a state of the art stadium with the roof closing redevelop James.
Health and safety issues. Best to find out who the owner is and shame them.
Now that video has caused o'fence
The fence is a H&S issue as its restricting safe egress incase of emergency 🤔
The land problem has been the bane of Newcastles' life! If you want a new ground that meets the requirement, you need to build a new stadium somewhere else, sell the current ground, and the Georgian properties are too valuable to demolish. But the council have a point as they have never sold the ground the stadium stands on!
No planning permission and it’s a Fire hazard, it’ll be gone by Sunday
dont need planning as its under 3 feet or 1 metre, it could have a covenant for public right of way which means they cant have a fence without a gate, its never straight forward
I still love having ST JAMES PARK as our stadium but at the same time I wouldn't be against us having to build a new stadium even though it wont happen for a Good few years
Stadium is on loaned ground so they shouldn't buy and just build close by and easy to get too somewhere. That way still bring in money while building. We definitely need way more seating than what the cathedral can provide insitu. I'm dreading Sunday as I'm a wheelchair user and it's dreadful getting around at best of time. This added to the problem is just going to be a nightmare. I'm gonna try and find a different way round to the east area.thanx for the heads up Adam. Great work and love your lives mate.
This fence will give eddie hope content for at least 6 videos 🤣🤣
well we did ask for reinforcements at the back.. welcome to club El Fenco
That is dangerous, god forbid there’s a crush incident where unsuspecting people are hurt or worse, that said, have the energy services been informed about this? Has there been a risk assessment done and approved by them? What happens if for whatever reason the stadium needs an emergency evaluation. In a crowd you wouldn’t know that fence was there until you were trapped against it. Absolutely shocking.
The land is owned by Amanda Staveley - It's up for sale at £450M.
No it’s not it’s, owned by an individual called Robert Kilbraire, who purchased it in March, for £180K from the previous owner who owns the terrace of houses opposite.
Some of that fence will go on sunday.
If you go on companies house and search that company (st James terrace land ltd) the director is a guy called Robert William KALBRAIER if that helps any one, he owns or is part of another 22 businesses in newcastle on companies house also
I would build the stadium on the land we have. When you look at loards new stadium. It let's light through. And goes straight up. The owner will have to stop. End of
I'd push for some of the leazes park land and have the old st james park space filled with football memorabilia/museum and something for the public to enjoy
Stop this crap. NEW STADIUM NEEDED.
Fencegate, deffo need weekly updates on this :D
We need a new stadium
1000 %
Ye because fake fans want to go back and support the club
@@bradleyclowes3421 we are all enjoying the fruits of those that boycotted the club when needed
@bradleyclowes3421 monkey hanging smb, 😂😂😂. Weirdo. Go on one of your own channels. Sad little boy !
@@SirAmnesia 100 and use wonder why use can’t get tickets mate u know what a mean feal sorry the people who went during Ashley and can’t get tickets now
It’s there land they can do whatever they want we would all do the same if someone is using or obstructing your land . Planning would have been consented before it’s been erected. Those parking spaces will be allocated to the adjacent property
Police and the council can't do anything, if someone owns that land they have free reign to do whatever they please regardless of matchdays or anything else
Not if it breaches health and safety etc
Wouldnt be surprised if PIF are gone in 5 years, all stuff like this, the restrictions around PSR, not being able to expand to generate that revenue, they've been sold a dream that's turning into a nightmare, they arent getting anywhere close to the return they were told and will expect, so why stick around?
I agree, if they can make a big profit on the 300 million, which they will they might just sell. Or concentrate on the rest of there portfolio 😢
I was getting my hair chopped last year, the barber made that exact point you have, a bit of a buzzkill but a shrewd comment nonetheless, the guy was in no way a downer, I like him he is funny but I suppose if you are someone who has more than a few decades of life experience you can make that kind of suggestion that they actually totally fuck off out of England and buy the NFL. I would hope thus far they have more patience.
@@ChrisInToon definitely, PIF are purely here to make money, that's exactly what investment groups do, they have no sentimental attachment to Newcastle and if they aren't getting any return then there's no benefit to them in staying. I'm certainly not a buzzkill guy, I'm as passionate as anyone, but more a realist of how the world works, they don't mess around, I absolutely hope I'm wrong, I want to be wrong, it just wouldn't be a shock to me if they went in a few years.
It's a possibility
Why would you want a boring generic new stadium that would probably be outside the city!?
I'd be gutted if we lost our cathedral on the hill
Bet it's a makems bit land
Darren sorted out the new stadium you visited at Atlanta last year Adam. That's the sort of thing we need. Weather we can find land big enough in an around city centre is the problem..but we definitely need to move.
The understanding that I have is that behind the scenes the ownership has been thinking of selling the team due to the headaches that seem to appear at every turn. I do believe the city council better let the Saudis do what they want real soon or a new Mike Ashley might be the next obstacle in the team getting trophies. By the way this is all hearsay and could be complete BS but these owners could buy any team.
Would be with a very very heavy heart to leave our stadium, but the Saudis have more money than god, imagine a state of the art 90k+ stadium with a retractable roof, not only the atmosphere it would create but also the revenue, being able to host elite events, blow all other stadiums out of the water, create new history in a new era for us, buying new land and building a new stadium wouldn't come off ffp....but selling this stadium and the land i believe does add to your ffp balance.....as its not to different to what chelsea did selling their facilities to themselves!
Great reaction video mate🖤🤍🖤
I guess he was going to try and sell match day parking, i heard somebody say he was demanding £10m for that land, that is crazy if its true
Maccas .. Get them a sponsorship? You don the golden archers 😂! This vid makes as much sense as my comment.
Good for them….
I’d have ‘Keep off my land’ signs up.
Who do NUFC think they are?
Where else could a brand new stadium with training facilities be built? It would have to be rural. We all know the feeling walking to the stadium after a few beers in town. This is a dense issue that is probably going to take years to resolve.
What an ugly blot on the Landscape.. its also dangerous if there's a fire and a rush of people coming out of the stadium . I would say that it contravenes health and safety..it does not contravene planning law as its under 12 feet high but health and safety ..yes ..without doubt given any unexpected event in an issue in or around the ground.
St James Park has always been a blot on the landscape
The effects of Ashley still affecting the club. He ripped up and sold every inch he could.
The director of that company is Robert william kalbraier, if you want a name to put blame to.
That is dangerous! Hopefully the council will remove it! .
It'd gone when I went to see it before the match today
They got it right on ttr, that fence was put up to keep Frasier from coming back 😂😂😂
build a new stadium and make sure club owns all the land around the new ground
New Stadium at Leases Park or Gosforth park..Rubens already own Gosforth Park so we are set for the 8th wonder of the world in a new stadium ..we are privileged to have these owners and the Saudi people don't do things by half..Imagine St James park in 25 years time ? crumbling, seedy, tired, and lacking the capacity and still looking like a mishmash of stands..New Ground..Wonderfull ! It will be the 8th wonder of the world and everyone in the north east here will be proud to have the best stadium in the world.
It would have to go a long way to beat spurs ground the pitch retracts so that boxing 🥊 pop concerts don’t have have coverage on the pitch best ground I’ve seen
We won’t be expanding St James Park. When will that penny drop with people
I’m a Sunderland fan you’re not bad the lad who sits next to at sol he was one of headman the last time Newcastle extended the ground they had a problem with sinking problems so extra 1000s of tonnes of concrete had to poured so they could finally put the pylons in the club was told they would have the same problems with the next expansion of the ground do you have to get permission from the council as they own the land the stadium sits on ??
False information Adam! We are not necessarily going for an expansion. Nothing has been announced. Most likely will be a new stadium. Pls make it factual not hearsay
That is incorrect, Newcastle United officials has stated on the record that we are staying at St James Park at least for now. Amanda Staveley went on The Athletic and told them we were looking to expand St James Park
Can imagine someone hurting themselves on this hazard and the resulting compo claims.
surely the road is the issue? that land wouldn't benefit us that much, if it was straight then it would but the bend around the last house is the problem there
I think that we should face the reality that newcastle united will have to leave St james park and build a purpose built 80,000 plus stadium nearby If we want to open a page on the next chapter of the club.
morning Adam P
🖐
From the start I felt we needed a new stadium
It's the boundary point of somebody's land
It’ll get ripped down. 100%
Regardless of who owns the land it’s definitely a health hazard and as you said it has no purpose so it needs to be addressed immediately before somebody gets hurt from it being there. Surely planning permission was required and probably refused. Someone on here with the expertise needs to look into it. Is it not council owned like most of the footpaths etc in the city. Absolutely pathetic and no regard for people’s welfare.
I wonder if it mysteriously catches fire like the empty buildings on the quayside did. 😂
What’s point in extending if your not gonna actually upgrade the players
The new option is to build a one-seater stadium and charge £1 million per game.
Surely the council own the land
I think council will force owners of that land to remove fence..because just coz u own land u still need permission just like if u own ur house and garden u need permission to erect and construction as farcas im aware
You don't need planning permission for a small fence
I’ll still buy a season ticket to not be able to attend while they extend
Simple enough really. Council will go to court and obtain a CPO on the grounds of public safety and this idiot will receive a whole pound for all his shit housery. There’s a process in place for exactly this kinda behaviour.
Buy land but get an injection out on person you bought it off
What bollocks it should be removed its a danger
Build new stadium on top of town moor hill. All the cows can be stewards
A group of teens would have that down in seconds for £10 😂
Can I just advise all Newcastle fans. Don't do anything rash, like wrecking that fence, or other things like paint bombing that poxy, I mean beautiful Georgian block of houses that you can see examples of FUKIN EVERYWHERE. Because that would be wrong
Build a mega stadium get more fan's in we all deserve to watch the toon dont expand more ticket sales is more revenue for transfer windows this window has been poor team is weak
Last season team was strong and we were gunna win trophies and qualify for champs league . We sold minteh who wasn't even involved in squad and Elliott Anderson who lets face it didnt contribute enough . But now we are a weak squad . Joke
Kieran Trippier wants out of Newcastle and has agreed personal terms with Turkish side Eyupspor
The guy who owns all of that building behind you is a Saudi,so he probably owns that fencing.
Has to be a makem who’s put that fence up
A thought ive is they could demolish leazes terrace brick by brick and rebuild it somewhere like beamish and we could by the land surely that sort of things possible
I think tyneside life interview some people that own buildings there
I assume maybe one them own that land ?
Details have been shared on Twitter - it appears to be owned by someone different
Adam, you never mentioned the new car park they've just got 😂.
You said it though, listed buildings, you can't touch... but, isn't it acceptable, or at least doable to take all the buildings down brick by brick and rebuild at Beamish?
Stay or move, 🤔 I’m on the fence 😅
Hiya Adam, If Newcastle move ground, will St James's park be demolished? maybe its a grade 2 listed, I don't know, in theory do you think Newcastle will go to 70,000? don't forget your P.O Box, this is Choppy
This looks like parking bays, don't think it's a turf war
The yellow portakabin was there during the Sela weekend. It had been removed before the Southampton match
Darren and Mitchell spent too much time promoting the Stack than on the transfer window, the club cannot charge top bucks for tickets, merchandise and even charge us to watch the pre season friendlies, we fans don't want to pay big bucks to watch some crap players and watch eddie mourn about injuries.
i think the owners will sell up as cant do anythink
it's bn there years for fans in 80 /90/00 . it b southern sorties that own it
Build a brand new stadium 🏟, i, e, Leazes Park. Brand new state of the art, 70, 000, money talks, bulkshit 🚶♀️...
At least u can park your push bike at the ground lol
Adam , we are moving man. You need a capacity of 70 thousand plus to make some decent money
If it's to force a sale and price etc, could be seen as extortion
The club need to worry about strengthening the first team squad instead of worrying about increasing capacity because mark my words the fans will turn when they see lack of ambition and walk away over time like they did under Ashley. Club is playing a very risky game and underestimating what effect this will have on fanbase. Good video Adam
Tell the boys from Sunderland that it's owned by an asylum seeker and they'll sort it out.
lets move,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Won’t be surprised if the Owners will sell the club making a huge profit in a few years time
I would tell the fecker where to go! and i think PIF will aswell, they will be aware that if they dance to this arseholes tune then others may well jump on the bandwagon! We need to go all out and do a Tottenham with the Leazes project shown a while back .
The % share man from Place?
Mike Ashley is laughing at us
9mins talking about a fence
Also a good opportunity for pif to express what we are up against and sell the idea of a new stadium to those fans who dont want one.
New stadium please. St James is looking tired and dated now. We need to stop being so nostalgic
Tyneside life stealing your content again 😂
🤍🖤
Ca$hley $trikes Again
The owners are not expanding anything, just like there not going to spend 100m on a player , you will be having this conversation 5 year from now , still talking about expansion , we got out container and that is enough ,
Muppet
The containers nothing to do with the club did you even watch the video?
@@SJP_Daveof course he didn’t, he’s just a wanker who needs something to complain about
I agree we ain't gonna do anything with stadium when we ain't even buying players
Must be fantastic having inside information on the club. Tell us more 🤦♂️
You know absolutely nothing pal. I get you’re probably frustrated with the way the window has gone, but let’s stop with the stupid comments 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
