Manual auto switching is a game changer, nice one for bringing it to my attention.
I have so much more control and my players seem to keep to their position a lot more.

It depends really, I find that on manual my player's stay in position and you're in complete control but one downside is corners are harder to defend on manual and it takes some getting used too.

Don't know if you or anyone can help but if I use Alternate control buttons on Xbox and not classic so would it affect me using Advanced defending in any way?

well it would change the buttons u have to press as u understand, but as far as the gameplay is the same
