Atlas Copco XAS 188 Start Up & Shutdown Sequence | Atlas Copco Power Technique USA

Today, we will show you how to start, set operating pressure and shut down an XAS 188 compressor.
Before you begin first open a service valve to allow air to escape during startup.
Next press the green button to start the unit, once the unit is running close the service valve.
With the machine running and service valves closed pressure adjustments can be made if needed
Pressing the measurements button will allow you to scroll through the various monitored parameters and check operating conditions.
When it’s time to shut the machine down, close the service valves and press the red service stop button.
Allow the unit to shut down and bleed air pressure completely to zero with the service valves closed.
At this point, the unit can be powered down by pressing the red button again.
