Episode 4 The 58 Impala Convertible Lowrider Build: The Sheetmetal Repair Starts

In this episode we teardown the frame and get started on the sheetmetal repair on this 1958 Impala convertible lowrider. In particular we are repairing the floor pans. Making one off pieces that can't be purchased because there aren't any available.

Excellent work man! Definitely going to enjoy this build series! Most people have no clue the hours it takes to do the job right. That section is where most guys would cut some corners...I'm glad your showing that car the love it deserves , and can rest easy that it will outlast everyone involved in building it. Does the driver side trunk pan sit on top of the inner quarter panel lip or does it sit on top of the trunk pan?
