I've seen DAC at least 10 times. I even saw him play at a small bar here in my hometown. He is one of the greatest songwriters of all time. He has written songs recorded by some of the biggest stars, in all genres of music. He is a living legend and an American treasure.

This makes me sad watching this I lost my brother to cancer in October 13th. Most people my age do not even know who David Allan coe is and that he wrote most people don't even realize how many songs he's even wrote for other country singers I wish I could see him live. Thanks for posting this

I went to every concert he done on the East Coast and North Carolina Raleigh and Charlotte and I'm here to tell you he puts one on one of the best concerts ever. I'm old now.. I was a early 60s ole hippie ha... In those days who wasn't half wild. Blessed his heart... Go out with a guitar and some good meds. Lol. I am a hospice nurse . Wish I would see you perform just one more for us....

Wow. The last images i remember seeing of him he looked 25 years younger atleast! I guess getting into his 80's this is about right... Is sad tho. Reminds me of my uncle about a year or two before he died of dementia... Aint many left like him. Thats what the saddest part is to me. Im sure this man could have been 10 times more famous. But he wanted to do things his way. And as i am finding out the world doesnt like that in a man. But the loners and rebels out there in my eyes are the ONLY men in this world. You wont ever be super rich or super successful most likey. But if you stick to doing whats in your heart and your guts. And no matter what deviate from that. Much respect. God bless David Allen Coe.
This is so sad to see. My husband has dementia and is like this. If you start a song he can sing and remember every word but he doesn't remember what he did this morning. Sad to see that his family is exploiting him in this way.

I was turned onto the DAC after I heard the song "Revenge" while on Johnny Rebel's iHeart station..or Maybe it was a Johnny Rebel mix on RUclips, but I've been a fan every since..grew up listening to RnB,rap (90's,the best),and some 90's rock and roll..they ripped me for being Black and loving Guns n Roses,Skynnrd,etc...but when ppl listen to those DAC songs I cherish, they're like "wtf wrong w/chya"?!..even my White "Brother from another Mother" was offended @1st..now,we sing the song (N-Lover) as a duet every chance we get..LOVE THIS DUDE!
