What about the stabilisation between native app vs BlackMagic?

Yeah, it’s annoying that nobody compares these. The BMD app seems to be worse in terms of stabilization which is a huge downside!

Does it remove the stabilization like others do?

Any budget variable nd filter you can recommend?
Bought the phone to add to my run&gun setup but don’t want to spend a fortune on a filter just yet.

This is a great video share! I have had the Blackmagic App for a while but haven't really used it. Now I want to try it out. BTW, what is the ND filter and case to hold it are you using on your iPhone in this video? Could you please share the link for those products so we can purchase them and also support your work that way? Thank you.

The accessories used here are Moment and Freewell lenses. Both companies offer cases that allow you to quickly attach the lenses.

Has anyone used the iPhone 12 and above with the Blackmagic and paired it with the OM 5 dji gimbal or any other gimbal?? Every one is only talking about the app app app alone ? For example , you’ve downloaded your app unto your iPhone .. you’ve gone through the settings all - now what ? Do you shoot using only the phone or if you want to pair up a gimbal , what next ? I have tried and I don’t think it’s able to pair up with a gimbal like the Dji OM 5. So if you have an idea , kindly drop me a line here . Thanks .

I haven't used that gimbal. But when I did use my phone with a gimbal I didn't do any pairing.

Why when doing video with my Iphone 13 Pro max the video look yellow and dark??

If your iPhone 13 Pro Max videos appear yellow and dark, it could be due to incorrect white balance or low light conditions during recording. Use the slider next to the focus square in the Camera app to increase exposure and brighten the video. Also, Make sure the environment is well-lit when recording to avoid dark videos. If the problem persists, there may be a hardware issue with the camera. Consider visiting an Apple Store or authorized service provider for a check-up.

The downside I find is that during the day, the Blackmagic app is overexposed. That's because I have the frames per second set to 50 and the shutter speed locked at 180 degrees, ISO 55. You'll need an ND filter in that case.
