It’s only mw3 that does this too. i have fiber optic so i know for a fact my connection isn’t the problem. just the servers being shit :/
For me as long as my vram usage was below 39% usage it ran great basically play at bad graphic settings 🥲and I have a 3080
i literally constantly only 15-20 ping and i can't play mw3 without crazy packet burst which makes it so fucking annoying.

I just built a brand new PC runs great but MW3 is unplayable I’ll be getting 240 fps and bam high latency and my game basically freezes, thought it was a bottle neck at first but I’ve done everything to try and fix it and nothing is working. I also have fiber optic

i never had this problem around launch. I re downloaded it bc i got bored and wanted to play zombies and i cant even play without stuttering every gunfight i get into. This is ridiculous

The packet burst this past few weeks been god awful . At first I thought it was my internet until I went on forums and saw the complaints .
Ps5 only has on demand textures. The rest of the settings dont exist

I've noticed you have vram taget on 50% on a 8GB gpu. That is not good even on lowest settings. 80% vram is perfect target to minimize stutters and texture packet bursts on 8gb cards and 70 or 60% on 12-16gb cards. Also turning off on-demand texture streaming is the best thing you can do to minimize packet bursts other than waiting for a patch or having good wired internet for gaming.
Its so weird because I had it on 80% and it was AWFUL

i got a 4090 and i be getting it too i did some research and it said if ur pc is to "good" activision purposely gives high end pcs packet bursts

It’s definitely server issues but this did help reduce mine some. Hope it helps you out!
I’ve done everything and kept getting packet burst . I’ve found the solution . If you have Norton security or any other protection that has game optimisation turn it off as it clashes with the windows game mode settings .

no matter how many times we complain they dont listen ever since 2019 nothing but issues w packet burst on ps4 xboxsx and now pc cod really is dying sad to see it go but oh well
Ive tried all 3 options and then some. Nothing. Packet Burst as far as I can tell is related to the server(s). Meaning while some may find some relief, majority wont. Packet Burst is a connection issue. COD has some bad servers out there and they need to be fixed. PC can find the servers and ping them. You will see timeouts when running a trace route. That is not good.
As far I know of, there is no graphic setting that will help. They dont for me, tried them all.
My Specs: Win 11 Pro, i7 9700K, GTX 1070, 32GB, NVME 500GB with 300GB free. CoD and Bnet are the only things on this drive. Windows is on a separate SSD.
Dude, I'm facing this problem and nothing I've done has worked. It must be a problem related to the servers. Were you able to solve it with anything or are you still having the problem?
@enzorodrigues2402 I thought I had. My lan aka ethernet adapter has the latest driver but Intel said there was a new one. But my mobo manufacturer said it has the latest. Went to Intel and got a newer one. After that, everything was fine for a few games, then the packet bursts came back n then I crashed.
Still figuring it all out it looks.
So how I fixed the issue was uninstall mw3 wait for them to release all six seasons and stop fiddling with the game. Then I will play it for example Coldwar problems seemed to have gone away or most of em 😂 since they stopped fiddling around with the game. In my opinion Mw3 = live beta test with no paycheck at the end of the day too old to be game testing games I just want it to work.

I can’t even participate without teleporting under the map, zombies included. Unplayable and it’s definitely not possible to fix player side. Hopefully they’ll handout *FULL* refunds. Stuck at lvl 4, fuckin peachy
yeah its definitely a server issue. These issues only reduced and fixed the stutters for me
I just started teleporting under the map in zombies, im rank 250 and this bug only just started for me a day or two ago.

I feel that man, I get cod is going down with all this negative stuff going on about it, but I enjoy MW3 for the most part. Just sucks they dont take care of it. Made my cod run a bit better with Gamefirst IV through Asus. Was able to control my internet connection and focus it on cod. Still packet loss but only yellow not orange and can play zombies now.@@ItsJaySea
