Dude is confident, arrogant in a good way and just true to his shit, he’s been an influence in my life to stick to my guns and speak my mind and be true, nothing but respect for him and his art.
Thank God I’m not the only one who was thankful for covid lmao this is such a great interview, 10/10 questions and vibes. I’m so stoked for the new plot album too! Dispose and Happiness in Self Destruction are my top 2 favorite albums by them! So damn excited.
Great and actually interesting interview. I swear Landon is the one artist I love so much due to not knowing what to expect and always an original sound have yet to be disappointed.
I cant wait for plots new album after what you said. I'm definitely a die hard fan. It seems like every solo album you've put out speaks to what I'm going through at the moment. I dont know how you do it, but keep fucking doing it. You're my favorite artist man, I love you!
10/10 solid interview. good line of questions and some important topics brought up, especially the one about releasing music despite how quickly people stop caring about it these days. gotta just keep pumping out content constantly. sadly it's the only way to stay relevant anymore.
I think it really depends on the band and their demographic. There are still Bands out there that take their time and put quality over quanitiy. But it also depends when the band peaked because if they already had a long road of success like in an earlier time where technology was less advanced and accessible and not as much of a "throaway garbage" culture as we have now. Back then i feel people had much more appreciation for music because it was kind of a privilge and looked up to to be able to go to a studio. Nowadays everyone can be a musician and the competition is tighter than ever paired with the self obsessed instagram culture its like a hamsterwheel that is rolling at a faster and faster pace each day. Social media plays a big role in dictating our consuming behaviour and id say its goin downhill real fast. Its just waiting to implode in a way that will elevate the rich artists to new level for profit (like making their record available as an NFT example) while the ones who are struggling will be fighting even more to get a piece of the cake. The amount of content is gettin more and more so in overall it becomes a deep jungle of music where it can be very overwhelming to stick out and offer something new to the table. Ofcourse its also a positive thing music making became so accessible and Technology is not all bad but every good thing has definitely an impact on society as well. Imagine there will someday be Ai that makes all the music.. Hard to imagine
Love your energy and the questions you asked. Ofcourse it helps I'm a fan but it was a very enjoyable interview to watch with lots of insights :) sounds like a very promising new album for sure!
