  • Making use of the space inside an over-under loop with "Appalachian Paper Products". This is one of the 3 big industries on my layout to go along with several smaller ones. This was done during about a half years time with a few gaps in the documentation. No narration, just a photo montage. I would be thrilled to talk about this if you have any comments or questions.

Thanks for sharing your MR journey! I enjoyed watching the 5-part origin story and am interested in seeing the rest of your completed layout. My first scenic HO layout I built with my best friend while in High School in my parents garage on a couple narrow work benches a local business was gettimg rid of. In college I did a small 2x4 (or maybe 2.5 wide?) N scale layout. 30 years later... this year I decided to buy some HO track, a new Atlas locomotive, and some used Athearn BB locomotives and railcars so I can run and display trains after all these years. Not sure where this will take me due to space constraints and RCs competing for my time and resources. It is fun to have trains again and a hobby I can do inside the house!

Thank you! Also thanks for sharing your model railroading history! A couple more parts will take the series up to the present day.

Great project and great layout! I will, though, assert a privilege as a resident of a state where all 55 counties are Appalachian. It’s Appa-LATCH-un. Please and thank you.

I thought mispronounced it 😳 , but I didn't narrate this video. So are you giving me a helpful tip for a future video? Thank you.
