Shimadzu Cares: River Cleanup

Partnering with the Waterway Watch Society, we joined hands for a meaningful waterway clean-up at Kallang Riverside. During this initiative, we successfully removed 20kg of plastics, including straws, bottles, wrappers, and other marine debris that harm our environment.
Single-use plastics might offer a moment of convenience, but their impact lingers for a lifetime, polluting ecosystems and endangering marine life. This clean-up serves as a powerful reminder of the urgent need to reduce plastic waste and make conscious, sustainable choices in our daily lives.
