I agree with you. Muller definitely caused it but if you watch, Macdowall came back right just a little bit more than Yvan probably expected. He certainly didn't have to run so close but considering it's Macau AND he was in contention for the championship, I can't say I wouldn't have been as racey myself. Certainly not as obvious as Sonoma...
he was slower than muller because he was in a fight with the car in front and also a slower car. Muller didn't considered it and smashed on his rear,he could have seriously injured him. If you're faster than the car in front of you you have to be careful and avoid contacts cause he's got the position. Just because macdowall ruined your favourite driver's race it doesn't mean you should say that this accident is macdowall's mistake cause that's ridicoulous.
Macdowall didn't step on the brakes.. Muller wasn't trying to slow down in fact he slid the car and that caused the touch to macdowall.He entered too quickly and smashed on the back of macdowall. Then all the motorsport world community agrees that it muller's fault...you have to accept it.If you say it's macdowall's fault you're probably yvan muller's parents or macdowall stole your woman :)

I used to admire Yvan Muller as a driver but the move on macdowall was idiotic and very dangerous!!He has to be hardly sanctioned.

In wtcc all the drivers go over the top sometime (also Huff,Menu,Tarquini etc.)but this move was just too much.
Plus even Yvan admitted his own fault.Stop defending the undefendable.
