Happy New Year 2025

The year 2024 was a successful one for the New Haven Adult & Continuing Education Center. We achieved many accomplishments. Students earned credits and obtained various certificates, including CNA, Northstar Digital Skills, OSHA, and ServSafe. They developed new skills through courses in manufacturing, culinary arts, and Certified Nursing Assistance.
Throughout the year, students took trips to different colleges, the Capitol, museums, and New York City. All classes visited the New Haven Free Public Library, where they received their library cards. Our graduation ceremony was a beautiful event.
The school also organized relaxing activities such as yoga, kettle corn, and ice cream socials. We celebrated important months such as Hispanic Heritage Month and Black History Month. Additionally, students participated in workshops on interview skills, FAFSA, and various training opportunities in Connecticut.
We are excited about what 2025 will bring, which promises just as many opportunities and even more for our talented adult learners.
