- Redoing another deleted video, Bob V. joins me to reexplore the remains of the Allen Colliery and West Lehigh Shaft in Tamaqua, Pa. dating back to the mid to late 1800's.( This time with more info Bob found on mine maps)
People get pissed at the Environmental Protection Agency, but who else has the authority to make these companies restore the land to the way they found it. Come on, clean up your mess, you made your money.
In our area there is lots of mine land restoration going on. The real big problem is all the mine water runoff. Near to where I live the coal company had a road moved. At that time the coal company stated that after they mined the coal from under the road they will restore the road to it's original location, Well guess what, NEVER HAPPENED !!!!
I think the 4peirs where for the old water tower. I have a few old pics of the yard right there.
Love the video. I always enjoy your exploring videos with Bob V. It's a shame how the coal industry just left the land with so many open mines. I hate to see acid mine water.
Great video
I spent a lot of years deer hunting that area.
The area with the "radiator" was probably a boiler house creating steam and pressurized air for the tools and equipment.
There are many RUclips channels that feature illegal train hopping, some with Millions of subscribers like Shiey. Did they or the rail company ask you to take it down?
They came to my house..RBMN is strick about it lately
Cool video bud!!! I never knew that about the road going to heislers sinking in the 70s
Glad you enjoyed it
It's sinking again
