Ok' as you can see' from my profile picture, i have a 2015 Fatboy. It already has the stage 1 set-up. Now' i was wondering what size cam would be good for both torque and horsepower, and' not having to do any other mods. And' what type of tuner would i need to use to get it right?
great explanation of the stage 2..... I just installed al the full kit with the "EASY START CAMS" (the ones with the small fixture to facilitate the start)... my coments using the "easy start cams"... at low speed you "hear" "clicking" those small fixtures and high speed stops the "clicks...".... I´m seriosly thinking on replace the cams for the "no easy start cams" the ones you are showing at your video.... once again, thank you for the explanation. hope my comment helps to other owners to take the right choice, my bike is HD Road King Classic 2000 FRLHCI.-
You shouldn't hear any clicking from your Easy Start cams. The mechanism is held open above 700 rpm due to centrifugal force. If it were to fall back closed it would hold your exhaust valve open 30 thousandths and your bike would be coughing and sputtering. This clicking your hearing from that area could be a loose pushrod or a collapsed lifter.
J&P Cycles thank so much for the answer, I'll look over the recomended elements to resolve the "cklic" sound.. I'll report the result of this, once again, thank you for the video and keep it up... we learn allot from you guys..
@Alex Eidenier hi.. all works perfect, the sound I had was the quicki push roads installed up side down... my tecnician installed in wrong way... now corrected and all sounds beautiful... is one of the best investments I made on my Road king classic 2000. has alloy of power. thank you for touch base here. highly recomended....
@Alex Eidenier this was one of the most effective investment on my old bike.... I do compare the performance with my new 2018 Ultra Limited [no updates at all yet] ..... and I love my old one..... .... share your experience & stay tunned... regards
I have a street glide special 2016 103 motor. Full stage 1 done. What is the cost to go full stage 2 . The right way, without losing reliability and that everyday ride ability.

What would be a good, or the best stage 2,3, or 4 air cleaner, to connect to a HPI 58mm intake throttle body on a '15 HD Ultra
Ok really like the K&N from RevZilla for my M8 114ci

How about doing a stage 2 on a carburated bike? Are there extra things to take into considiration?
re-jetting would be a must. Changing carb size could be considered but not crucial .
Might as well go gear-drive cams too . Lose the chains & tensioners 👍

So, which ones do I buy?
Depends on what you want, torque or power.
