Red dragon archfiend is my favorite synchro based deck alongside blackwings and damn is fun to play with
I know it has to be done to have a chance at winning these days but i hate having to fill decks up with hand traps

i agree completely. The game has become boring af. every deck runs the same 20 hand traps or you don't win.
@95GREENBIRD of course every deck runs the same hand traps otherwise nobody would win there matches in general especially those that top at ycs, wqc, and regionals, plus there own local stores man. Unless you're playing some kind of deck without hand traps like manikos or dark world or danger luna fairy tale or a burn deck only besides that other decks they mostly run the same hand traps in general

love the build brother, very similar to what i run, except i play the centur-ion package with it. also looking at the three lotus king at 20 dollars each makes me cry 😭

Very cool Synchro deck. I'm playing it with Bystial engine which can even summon Calamity on opponent's turn with Etude of the Branded.
This has been my build too
Etude also active as a macro cosmos effect is nice for disruption even if you don't get to go into king calamity.

I would love to see a pure build of galaxy eyes and blue eyes and dragundities go up against this deck purebuild and red eyes. No extra added cards or anything. Just blue eyes card. It's in Galaxy cards and dragonity cards and Red eyes and tenpai Dex going at it against it

If your opponent thinks Soul Resonator is the chokepoint, this deck is pretty lit. If your opponent knows Red Rising Dragon is the chokepoint, it's joever.

Ash is really good to have since it's not only another tuner, it's also another increase in ATK points for Red Nova/Supernova after she gets sent to the grave

red lotus is actually useless, because nobody will ash your soul resonator, you just wait for enemy to bring out red rising and crimson resonator then ash crimson resonator and stop the whole turn, because they probably summoned red rising with bone archfiend which just locked them into synchros that they cannot summon...
The whole deck is just combo out red rising and crimson resonator and hope it goes off, otherwise just surrender.

@@xXNeoNashXx, there is a very easy way to get to Calamity with the help of Centurion cards + Crimson dragon, or another combo, the new Shining Star Dragon. This video is literally for someone who bought the starter deck x3 and has a couple of bucks for a few cards, but it is a really weak version of it.

A very weak version of the deck, and literally, with any hand trap thrown at Soul resonator, Bone Archfiend or Red Rising Dragon, means one thing, end turn, or let's go next round. Crossout Designator is a no-go in this deck as the deck, if built correctly, does not need it, and the only card then that hurts is...super polymerisation. Why?

A small explanation of the deck. You have 3 different engines that work perfectly together. With these cards, the only issue for this deck is Super Polymerization; any other boardbreaker is fine. You can even play when the opponent slaps you with a Nibiru - at any point in the game. The Resonator engine helps you build the dark synchro dragons with 2 negates and a destroy with follow-up effects.
The Bystial engine stops your opponent (in case they play Light or Dark) or extends your play.
The Centurion engine helps you get to the Calamity lock super easily because of the Crimson Dragon.
Skill Drain is not a problem for you, as you would activate it in your opponent's turn, and once it is your turn, you can easily get rid of it with Bone Archfiend.
I hope someone finds the decklist I'm posting useful. In addition to having fun with the RDA, I want to win at locals and show other players that RDA can be very hard to play against, rather than just being laughed off.

What's a good substitute if you don't have Red Lotus King or the Earthbound monster?
I’m glad I picked up 3 x copies of Red Lotus King when it was around $5, now it’s around $14-$15!
For flame crime substitute
Void Apocalypse, one of the best cards for the deck, puts flame crime to shame.
An sadly no sub for stone sweeper just need 2
Flame Crime is ok, but not absolutely mandatory. Just another extender
If you want a replacement, grab two or three copies of Shining Star Dragon for the Calamity setup

If you don't have RLK, I would play the Supay package as another extension piece. If you can't get Stone Sweeper, Small World is your next best choice

Why do you run all the hand traps at 2?
The reason we do that is bc of Crossout Designator. Usually, we want to have versatility with different hand traps and not brick on them while using Crossout to shut down the opponent.

Flame Crime is soo bad...
How is it bad? Why wouldn't you play this? what would you play instead? It's GG if your Soul Resonator gets negated and don't have a Bone already in hand. It's great to have this in your hand to play through that and get your Red Rising out so that you can continue your combo.
