Hi guys, sorry we're late commenting - got caught out in Storm Isha! Love the Canterbury P&R - what a great facility that is. And Folkestone station - amazing place. Beautifully restored. The steps! 😃😃 But good for fitness if nothing else 😃😃 Glad you got through Customs ok Must seem so warm for you guys now - after being in the UK
Hope you survived the storm. We missed that one but passed through freezing conditions in France minus 6. All good here in Spain, like an English summer without the cloud and rain 😃👍🏻🚐 Trev
Hi Trev and Sue, sorry not commented sooner, been really so poorly with this bug, week 3. Lovely video, nice to see the walk around Folkestone loved Sophie and Oscar's little jackets bless them. Nice to see you boarding the shuttle. Will be following your travels, take care x Julie and Tony x
It was a lovely walk Bob, very little breeze but cold of course. We had tea in a pub after taking the dogs back to the warm van. Melli is much better. Kev and Tracey were thrilled that Sha came out walking with us and this was the best she had done since her operation. Great news ! 😃👍🏻🚐🚐 Trev
Le Shuttle is far and away the best route with doggies, and usually not more expensive than the ferry, especially if you book a pet cabin. It's such a pity that more ferry companies won't allow dogs to leave the car during even a short crossing. I think DFDS does. Have a great trip. Looking forward to you sharing it with us.
We regularly use the harbour car park, when we give our CV20 a run from North Kent in winter months, it's very vibrant when cafes etc are open, we like Little Rock, a fish restaurant in a shopping container ,right on the beach. Sadly the cliff railway has closed ,but there is talk of it 're opening soon. Great video, enjoy your travels
Thank you, it’s our first visit there and we genuinely enjoyed it. We visited one of the pubs for coffee and to get warm but it was busy so I couldn’t film inside. Definitely will return later in the year 😃👍🏻🚐 Trev
Have a great trip. We've had a similar gas check every time we've been through. They stopped checking our physical bottle after Covid and checked the hob like you said. Coming back last week the van was X-rayed for the first time ever. All good fun. Safe travels.
Hi Trev and Sue a great video as ever i think we parked on that park and ride last August when we went to Kent on holiday it’s in a good location and the public transport is very good in Canterbury in my view love the city lots to see and very vibrant Must check out Folkestone it looked lovely in the harbour and looked a lovely walk and I bet it’s lovely in season Well done Sue on those stairs hope you got your coffee and cake you did better than me! Hope you all travel safely and look forward to the next video all the best Daniel
Thank you Daniel, Sue put us to shame with the steps 😆 We did get coffee but no cake, that was later in the van 🚐 we are doing well on the trip. Thanks again for your support 👍🏻🚐 Trev
What a great facility and a good price at Canterbury. It’s a beautiful city to visit. Love the dog coats, Poppy has a new one for her impending trip, she treats it with the same disdain as the others😂. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your tour. Safe travels, best wishes H&M.😊xx
Thank you both for your kind friendship and support. We appreciate your advice about GPL and we successfully filled up this morning using the Spanish adapter and gun. Phew, another tick in the box 😆👍🏻🚐 Trev
Great drive. We just went camping in some below 0 temps. Was so cold this weekend. Luckily, we were able to park our camper in our friends shop. Made it nice and easy to keep it heated. Nice that the lot is well lit. Seems to be a pretty popular parking area among the campers. The harbor is cool to see. Neat that you can walk around the railway station. Well I definitely say we hit the signal station bar 😂 Pretty sure I would not have volunteered to walk the steps lol. 104? Yup definitely would not have voluntarily done it lol. 19:22 Sue got wore out from climbing those stairs 😆 Good trip so far.
Ah so we are not the only crazy people camping in the cold. 🤣👍🏻 Parking in the shop sounds like a great option 👍🏻 We had fun at the old station and were glad to get to France but it just got colder than ever to start with 🥶 Take care both of you 💙 Trev
Enjoyed your vblog. We've stayed at the Canterbury Aire many times, glad you found it good. It's a credit to Canterbury Council, a pity other authorities can't do this. Looking forward to your Spain adventures. Take care Al & Jan. 🇪🇸 🇪🇸 🇪🇸
Very nice and fun video ❤👍 Great to see and hear Sue laughing. And Trev.... 3 days leather 😂🤣 The night parking is such a good price and practicle spot
Didn't know about Abbeywell vets. Our local vet quoted £202 so will be going through Abbeywell, we don't head over until 1 Feb. Thanks for the tip Trev👍🐾
Do it soon and make sure you have your Rabies certificate ready to send to them electronically with the form that’s on their website. The instructions on their website is quite clear and you may not get responses immediately but keep using your original email, don’t start new ones if they ask for more information. Hit the reply button and all the history of the communication stays below your message. You will pay £99 for one pet the first time then it reduces if you use the service again as they have you on file. It’s saved us a lot of cash ! 😃 Trev
Following your latest vlog with interest! We only took delivery of our Constellation 3XL last July and with 10 weeks in Australia and Canada we've not had many breaks thus far! We're planning on a trip to France and Spain so the information you have provided has been valuable to say the least. Safe travels and looking forward to catching up with your next vlog. Sid and Nicola, Rugby
Thank you and we try to share as many things as we can but at the same time make it mildly entertaining 😆 We are making a dash for Spain in just 3 days travelling so you may wish to slow the pace somewhat, but hopefully you can gain some knowledge from our experience 😃👍🏻🚐 Trev
Just started to watch your blogs, and we are enjoying them very much. Looking forward to this years trip to Spain. A cheeky question Trev, your watch what make and model is it, as it looks unusual. Cheers Mike.
My wristwatch is a Rotary quartz. It’s about 5 years old and I have had 1 new leather strap and battery change. I love leather rather than metal wristbands. As for the model, it’s chronograph but doesn’t have the LED display. Again, I am old school and like the dials that turn 🤣👍🏻⌚️🕥 Trev
Yes we saw the evidence of it but it was a day or two before we travelled. We drove for many hours in sub zero temperatures but the roads were absolutely fine with no ice or snow on them. 😃👍🏻🚐 Trev
Thanks for all the information, really useful, especially the info for the vet in Kent. We want to take our dog over for the first time & is it easy to find a vet for the tapeworm treatment on homeward journey? Thank you!
Make sure you read the Abbeywell Vets web site closely to follow their process. It’s really important to have your pet’s rabies jab in advance and have the certificate ready as this is something you can do at your own vets. We have never had a problem with the return journey vet and we have used a few now. Best to contact them at least a week before you need to travel home and ask for an appointment. Most vets know about the process and charges are much the same at around 40 Euro per pet. 🙂 Trev
We had a night at Black Horse Farm purely so we could get charged up and have a hot shower before going to France. The weather was pretty cold so it turned out to be a good idea. We could have easily travelled straight from Canterbury though 😃👍🏻🚐 Trev
The return vet appointment has to be done within 5 days of your return trip. It’s important to contact a vet at least a week before you need to return home. It really depends on where you are travelling to but most vets in Europe are aware of what’s needed in terms of treatment and more importantly paperwork 🙂 Trev
Is there a closing time at the aire ? We’re due to be in Canterbury about 11pm and was wondering if it’ll be open at that time, if not we’ll go straight to Dover and park along the Marine parade
We got them from the Norfolk Campervan Show a couple of years ago but the seller’s web site is here motorhomeessentials.com/product/seat-covers/ Hope that helps 😃👍🏻 Trev
Love the Canterbury Park and Ride . its worth its weight in gold for proper full timers !! But you didn't film the rarest production motorhome in the world !!! It was staring you in the face (LOL ) My Vintage Hymer 900 parked in the back car park !! You wont see one of those again soon matey . Always keep your eyes open for interesting content !!!
Ah that was you was it ? If I had known, I would have come over to say hello 👋 Stay safe and warm in your special home and we will look out for you when we return 😃👍🏻🚐 Trev

Oh wow never been x-rayed before. Are they looking for extra people on board ? Thanks for your comments 🙂 Trev
We suspect they were. they also checked in the boot and inside the van, that's only the 2nd time in 10 years@@PoshcatsCamping

Always nice to have a glimpse of Kent. We'll be in Canterbury next weekend for some family time.
