I remember when we used to have a modernist priest tell us that hell does not exist. Thank God we have a good traditional priest now who teaches the true gospel. If your church has become 'woke' just look around and travel farther if you have to. We the laypeople need to fight for and support Gods truth which NEVER CHANGES!

Of course the Holy War is both outside the Catholic faith and inside it. At age 76, I still get lots of pushback but I try to explain, not really argue, about the Catholic faith. God bless! Thank you for speaking about a subject that few priests. Satan & sin seem to be taboo in our churches. Who does that serve, not us, Satan. But we have God on our side. We have to choose God.
Pornography was the cause of my divorce. It truly saddened me to file but abuse started and I couldn’t handle it. We tried counseling but he refused to stop the addiction. Thanks for this talk Fr Mike.
I was always confused of the difference between the world, our flesh and the devil. Another point-I started fasting some while ago, namely at least twice a week to give myself a fighting chance against sin. And I can feel more strength in battles. Going to confession is invaluable for me and yes at times its hard to mention all the sins but it heals the person. Thank you Fr. Mike and God bless.
Good timing Father. I’m increasing prayers for conversion of sinners and am afraid of the evil one’s retribution. We as Catholics need to show more reverence for the Eucharist. Communion in the hand is not reverent - should only be on the tongue and kneeling - we are receiving OUR LORD. Satan is sneaky - we need to be on guard all the time.

Our entire life is a spiritual battle, the entire world is in a spiritual battle. It saddens me that there are pastors and priests who deny that. They are lost men who know not Christ. I saw this in the 1980s in the United Methodist Church in NY. I couldn’t understand why the pastor never preached about sin, repentance, redemption, salvation, etc. one day he said “nowadays we know that there is no such thing as demons, we know it is just mental illness.” I then realized he was an unbeliever, a lost man, a false teacher. He literally did not believe the Gospel! Since then the United Methodist Church has fallen into total apostasy.
Who tempted Jesus in the desert, 3 temptations of the world, the deceiver Satan. Satan and devils are in different stories of the Bible. But Protestants remove certain chapters like 7 out of their Bible versions.
Sorry Father, we really need to practice birth control, not every one can afford a large family, it can be very damaging to a marriage, it was to my parents when they had ten children, went to church every Sunday, but life was hell at home
Sorry Donald, the Church never said you can't practice birth control. It just can't be artificial. You should know that already. It's called NATURAL Family Planning and it works. Call your diocese to get the details and you can educate yourself and your spouse. Don't blame your parents because they didn't use artificial birth control. It is a blessing to have 9 siblings. You did the right thing. The Bible says the only reason to divorce is to do chastity. Porn addiction qualifies as that.
