try flipping the couch with the back of the couch against the wall and see how that looks to make the space look more open. You may have to move the TV around but see if that helps. So the chaise part will be along the glass doors by the balcony. Maybe you could show us how this looks in the next vlog, I wanna see if you would like it!
Mark, I think you mixed up the two long sides of your bed. You can see in the video that the wooden bits where the slatts would lie on top of don't line up (3:05) 😅 and i guess that's why your matress is so high up 😅 just wanted to tell you ... But if it doesn't bother you, just ignore it .. the bed looks great in the end 😊👍

Like I get so emotional seeing how kind Mark and Zoe are..so attentive towards other's emotions, wont hurt anyone with their words..if these two represent how nice ppl are in Brighton, I am packing my bags and moving! From a designers point of view you should put the bed on the long side of the wall where the two outlets are put designed to be used on both sides of the bed for plugging in lamps or charging phone etc. It also gives the room more light, bigger appeal and better flow through the room. It could also be a mental thing sleeping in the corner rather than freely in the middle for easier mindset. And.... Where is your future partners space to hop into bed and charge the phone Mark?..😅😅😌
Another tip is to put tables on the sides of the bed and a nice green big plant in the corner instead 🙌 sorry about being annoying but... Not sure about the placement of the sofa but... Dont know what the rest of the room looks like but embrace the feng shui lol
I am an interior designer so if you need any advice just ask! Loving the yellow and grey hues. I think you should have a feature light over the coffee table.

Oh love your flat it's huge and Zoe can come and stay over in her new bedroom. The size of the rooms are perfect . How big is the landing on you floor you could get another flat out there. I would get lost out there lol. So excited for you , love the sofa that way you can lounge and look at the night sky . Get used to the lift situation, I used to live in a tower block and had 2 lifts, 1 of which was out of order for about 3 months while they were waiting for parts. I was on the 18th floor and regularly had to take the stairs. Good exercise though
Im pretty positive youve built that bead incorrectly. Just double check the long side pieces. Im pretty positive they are on the wrong side and upside down, so the slat piece is suppose to sit down inside of the edges, not on top like it is now. The way it is now (if i am right) makes it weaker and more aped to brake.
I think you should put the TV against the wall and move the sofa so one side is parallel to the balcony. You’ll have like a little walkway between the back of the sofa and the balcony door. Also, it’ll open up the room when you first walk in the front door

MARK! You put the bed together wrong. The two long sides are the wrong way round. The wooden bits need to line up with the end and head of the bed or the slats might break while your sleeping on it! Just letting you know so you stay safe :)
