I went to see him in a very small concert in NY. It was a most memorable event as absolutely loved Bobby's Caldwell music so much. Since my Dad worked for JAL, he told me Bobby was so very popular in Japan. I wish I could've seen him there.
I’m so glad he recorded the songs ‘Heart of mine’, ‘All or nothing at all’ and ‘Next time I fall’ the way he envisioned them; the other artists that original recorded them couldn’t produce the emotional, spiritual feeling Bobby embodied. Probably the best recorded love song I’ve ever heard is ‘Heart of Mine’ and ‘Next time I fall’ has the most exquisite emotional value, I can’t quite describe how this resonates with me, it’s almost an unparalleled consonance to it. Never heard anything like it

@@khoapham2764 I was lucky! There was alot of good music Floating around those days Also, people were building recording studios right and left which was pretty cool. There was this big grey (ugly) bunker type bldg. behind the dance studio I used to work out at on Miami Beach. There were always a few Rolls Royces and expensive cars parked there. One day I was driving by and I saw Barry and Robin Gibb. It was the Bee Gees recording studio.

Wish I had a time machine to travel back in time because I swear I’ll have the time of my life! It was such an odd vibe, I have lived in San Fran and Miami, where people where pretty laid back. It was a real culture shock. Where do you live?
