Hi, great to see you doing so well. This condition is so life changing. I like to hear you say it was a condition you 'had'. Thank you for your upbeat approach. I'm going to tell my son about you as he's in the depths of the awfulness of vestibular migraine and vestibular neuritis. That sword analogy 👍. Choose happiness, choose joy, everyone is searching for hope. Thank God he pulled you through those dark days 🙏 he will use your experiences for good. Jesus is our rock, without him we're lost.

@@MindyParker I'm so glad for you! That relapse lasted for like 4 months but I think mostly because I didn't give up on alcohol and that made me had mini relapses I had to go through. That was 2021. Now in december 2022, unfortunately I got a very bad strep throat and I relapsed badly again. I'm still recovering from that, but overall I would say I'm in a solid 80%. Just some really bad motion sickness while I'm in a car and insomnia/fatigue.

What did you do to get better? Can you show us some of the exercises you did? Also. how did you get the diagnose? I went to see an ear doctor and a neurologist and non of them gave me a diagnose and my symptoms are very much like yours. The neuro said I have migraine, because I have daily headaches and, of course, he gave me pills to take (2 migraine pills every night for 4 months) and the ear doctor said I might have an imbalance between the two ears and told me I could benefit from vestibular exercises.

You want the best advice? Stop going to the "traditional" doctors. They know nothing. They are merely glorified drug dealers. Check into functional neurology.

Hi. Do you think vestibular neuritis is more temporary than vestibular migraine? At first I thought I had neuritis but it has been 6 months and I have not had one single day without brain fog/derealization. Do you have these symptoms? I’ve been nearly bed ridden this whole time with a bunch of crazy and scary symptoms. This all started back in may when I went on a road trip. I think it had something to do with the air pressure change

Dude try b2 vitamins! They work ! They are A prevention med ... stops migraines 👍 and this is gonna sound strange but...take your shoes of and find a hill or get some sort of ramp and walk up and down about 10x Each, first down normally then walk backwards down the ramp/hill then if you feel comfortable with it walk down while closing your eyes then do it backwards and engage all your feelings like the bottom of your feet your arch, your calf’s your toes etc...if you stick with it you will see change! When doing this please get someone to watch you when you walk backwards and when you close your eyes...good luck

It’s dependent on sleep and a set routine that over time will work in your favor. Look up the rock steady program and watch her videos. Sleep is the biggest helper. Practice VRT and start working out. Get on a pill like Effexor at least at 50mg eventually and you will see overtime it all makes that go away. Seriously.
