I really like Euronymous rhythm player, but this is a far better solo than he would have played! I think he would have just attacked the highest frets as quickly as he could with little regard for anything else - a bit like Chainsaw...

Absolutely, Euronymous was a so-so guitarist and songwriter at this stage. I would expect a solo to be very short and just some basic scales.
