    As a very utilitarian person, the only option I'd go with is the jets. They're the only ones that can run for any period of time without overheating. And they rarely seem to break down or have cylinders misfiring. In real life, they cannot fail, so they're pretty durable.

    What good is all this horsepower when you can't get it to the ground? Is there a tire size limit? It says "unlimited" but there are obviously limits.

    what is the point of having 10 supercharged engines if the tires have no grip?

      Learn more about the sport and you will find out the logic behind this. Look into unlimited class rules.

    4:10 i still dont know how you connect a jet engine to an axle and diff ? how does that work ? and no, its not just being "pulled" by the turbines, the wheel is digging i can see

      It's all in the sauce ..think about this Art Arfonz did it in the early 80s Banter Bros out of Indiana did it with multi engines in the early 80s. This sport goes back an I'm 51 my dad pulled a 2 wheel class with a alcohol blown hemi it was a one shot deal BETTER GET IT RIGHT ..its not like you can just take it to your local track test run
      LOOOOG HOURS AN PLENTY OF QUIET RIDES BACK HOME AS A KID 😄 I PULLED FOR SEVERAL YEARS TIL A ACCIDENT which I walked away from

      Each engine has a secondary shaft in line with the first that can rotat independently of the power making part, it takes the power from the exhaust and drives a gearbox. Only a light breeze is left coming out of the huge exhausts on the outside.

    • @wiredforstereo
      @wiredforstereo 4 года назад

      Like Mike said. The power shaft is on a separate final turbine. It can be stopped without the engine dying, though it would overheat quickly. That final turbine is what powers the giant fan on a commercial jet liner, as well as the propellers on prop-jet planes and rotors on helicopters.

      And by the way, all you had to do was google "turbine to drive shaft connection" or plenty of other wordings to spend the next 20mins learning how it works, don't waste time asking people on RUclips who might not take the care and attention to learn it before they answer you.

    No class mentioned until the end. Not even the weights, what a lot of crapp.
