- An American Mitsubishi elevator! No, this is not in the United States btw, apparently Dubai Airport (DXB) has several American Mitsubishi elevators which are extremely rare in Asia, and this is one of them.
It looks just like the ones in the U.S., with ADA compliant style fixtures, a call cancel button (which will only work on fireman's control) and in-car lanterns (don't work sadly) on the door jambs. Not sure whether this was imported from North America or the Inazawa Works factory in Japan. Ride was a bit rough though as it would always make a "big bump" upon stopping on the top floor, but other than that this is still a really nice elevator. The only difference here compared to the ones in North America, is that the capacity is listed in kilogram rather than pound (lbs). Definitely not your ordinary Mitsubishi here in Asia, so it's worth the take! Glad I filmed this one before I flew back home.
Didn't go down all the way to G due to lack of time, and this elevator is always busy.

This one of probably one of the rare mitsubishi elevators! Its fixtures are completely different from the others! I'd like to see this!
There's one building in Jakarta, Indonesia having 1990s Mitsubishi elevators with older American style buttons like the ones at the famous Hotel Nikko San Fransisco, and that's the only "American style" Mitsubishi that I know in my country.
This is the same model as the one seen at Singapore Expo (HVJ-G)
But I think he just stated the model without any evidence. Honestly I will avoid using that model name until there is enough evidence to avoid misconception.
It reminds me that those buttons look like from the US.
Indeed
Tho i did toke Turkish Otis lifts in Rixos Hotel Dubrovnik but that's not even this rare, but this one is musch more rare than Turkish Otis
Waw kegirangan orang Amerika
Another con, no door close chime and not a single announcement.
Doesn't really matter. There are plenty speechless Mitsubishis around.
I prefer when there is announcement.
No, but car horn!
