I've had this pedal for maybe two years and it does everything I want. Despite no blend, the character of my bass still comes through. Adjusting the tone and gain gives me basically any sound I want too. Sharp and aggressive or big and warm like Tame Impala. There's still plenty of low-end, but the tone remains articulate. For me it's basically perfect. If they ever do an update, I'd only want a full-sized pedal with top jacks: same footprint as a mini-pedal, but easier to adjust and stomp on.

I'm all for simplified/streamlined control. I used to want everything in my rig to have 10000 knobs and buttons. Now if I see more than three knobs I get pissed off hahaha

This sounds like it has some of that Darkglass Vintage vibe but with way more gain which is what I always wanted more of from the Vintage series. By the way, where can these be bought in Europe?? The pedal seems a bit scarce at the moment.

You're absolutely right. You either like it or you don't. I've been playing bass forever, and I don't like it. Fact is. I don't like any pedals That distort my tone whatsoever. Occasionally, I'll use chorus or an octave Pedal. I left my high quality Bass do all the work, with its pickups and my amplifier.
