+Lauren why should we "just be happy" that they aired it ONCE since it originally aired over a decade ago, and happy that it was illegally uploaded here by a youtuber? tfjj was a pioneering show whose success helped catapult Disney from the nineties mickey Mouse era to the monster it is now. the fact that they completely ignore this show while giving importance to other shows that aired during the same time is highly disrespectful.
For real man. He was just a regular guy. I'm happy they ran a show like this for a black actor. Its always some over the top goofball character or a thug if its a black show.
This guy seem to have such charisma about him. You can tell he was a natural talent. Sad what transpired later in his life . May Lee Thompson Young RIP.
+Michelle O I just found this out today, I was in shock I had no idea. I remember thinking North Carolina was so cool back when this show aired, then I moved here and it sucks lol.
As a kid I remember seeing this episode and thinking "damn... It's a bit over the top." Now watching it I'm thinking that the message they made wouldn't get to children unless they did it the way they did. It's so sad Lee Thompson Young passed. This show actually tackled something and had the balls to stand up for itself. Damn kid shows need help nowadays.
Damn! It's funny, a show from the 90s was making a social commentary reference on an issue we're debating today about the police and black individuals.
Disney was real back then. It's sad that they listened to the parents who want to coddle their children from the truth of life. Even the Disney Channel Movies are stupid today.
The only reason companies like Disney give us shows like this is so they can take em away. Jus so they can say they made em and they “didn’t do well” so they never have to make another one
RATED GREATEST DISNEY SHOW OF ALL TIME.....HANDS DOWN, RIP LEE THOMPSON YOUNG, one of the greatest young actors of all time, no other disney show has or will ever compare to the amazing writing and acting of this tv series, im proud to have grown up watching this show, everything else made today is sub par
Michael Mcneil Jr. and what message is that? Just because you're black you're not a criminal? Even after you rob, murder, speed, or sell drugs for a living? Back in the 90's this episode made sense. But we live in a time where you know, facts exist, so this episode is just fantasy.
When he died, my mom told me I used to watch this as a kid. I have very vague if any recollection of it at all. It's an amazing show from what I can tell.
Can’t believe that Disney truly changed their identity. Shows like this in the 90’s are exactly what kids need nowadays! It’s unfortunate they’re not taking chances and actually approaching real issues to help educate kids like they did in the 90’s.
R.I.P Lee. I just found out about his passing when I came up on an article about actors who died young. I used to enjoy watching this show and thought he was so good on it. So sad!
This episode is definitely lost and found. Figured this at the beginning. Episode was so good I had to watch again. I have a lot to say, that I'll comment on the second one. To be continued.
disney used to make shows that were real and had real content. now they just make stupid shows for little 8 year old girls. if i were a kid today i dont even think i would watch disney. theres nothing on disney today thats even remotely close to this show, even stevens, smart guy, boy meets world, or movies like johnny tsunami or brink. now its all stupid elementary school stuff and girl drama. just awful that the kids have to grow up with that garbage rather than great television.
Final thoughts. Neither side is better than the other. Famous people have problems just like everyday people. The grass is still green on both sides. the average person if given the opportunity would take it and be just as into the social life. Jett has a great heart and truly cares. I really like the scene when the lady ask they would take him anywhere he still says i have things to do. Episode again was really good. R.I.P lee thompson young.
I still remember thinking this was important to see, when I was a kid. It reminded me of the privilege I have as a white person and that that is not fair.
I didn't know that Riley had an older sister. Did you? 👍🏻 if you recognized her appearance in this episode even though bulimia isn't a pretty condition to witness on a regular kid like herself.
The fact that on of the cops was a black woman is just sad. I'm not saying all cops are bad. My point is ignorence sadly knows no diversity even among themselves.
That's because it's not about ignorance, it's about genetic mutation. The black female cop couldn't relate to him because he is genetically different from her so she is mind controlled to kill and attack him. Him being black person is only indicative of the fact that if you are black you have to be apart of the system or you will be a targeted individual. The black cop was genetically altered and was only able to deal with Jett when she realized that though he may not be genetically altered by the system he still works for it and on top of that he is a 🌟
Disney needs to stop acting like this show doesnt exist and put it on DVD, or at least some streaming service
they just aired the movie a few days ago and be happy that some episodes are on here
+Lauren why should we "just be happy" that they aired it ONCE since it originally aired over a decade ago, and happy that it was illegally uploaded here by a youtuber? tfjj was a pioneering show whose success helped catapult Disney from the nineties mickey Mouse era to the monster it is now. the fact that they completely ignore this show while giving importance to other shows that aired during the same time is highly disrespectful.
MizzyTheQueen White people are more popular.
I agree.
How about Disney+
When I was 6 I wanted to be like Jett Jackson. Everybody did he was a hero to us black 90s babies. RIP Lee
For real man. He was just a regular guy. I'm happy they ran a show like this for a black actor. Its always some over the top goofball character or a thug if its a black show.
Rented Gucci Mink fr bro. I hate that stereotype shit.
Disney would never air something this heavy or this deep now. Their shows have become extremely superficial now.
Danielle Dixon u really said something that I agree with 100%
I agree. Anything now that even has the potential to be deep has either been sugar coated or cancelled.
Notorious1503 sometimes as an adult it’s nice to watch nice to watch nostalgic tv shows and not constantly think about the stress in the world.
You are absolutely right
disagree@@AnythingBtOrdinary91
dang disney use to be so real. they use to shoot their shows on location too.
This guy seem to have such charisma about him. You can tell he was a natural talent. Sad what transpired later in his life . May Lee Thompson Young RIP.
Jett Jackson is the truth and he is a genius and he can rap
Incredible episode and still relevant now. 💯
Man why cant they make good quality shows like this anymore?
PrinceTrexus sad

+Michelle O I just found this out today, I was in shock I had no idea. I remember thinking North Carolina was so cool back when this show aired, then I moved here and it sucks lol.

wow, that on a Disney show. nothing like today. I see what people are saying about television nowadays
"They see you boy, they see you"! Deep words.
Damn! It's funny, a show from the 90s was making a social commentary reference on an issue we're debating today about the police and black individuals.
ERAUPRCWA it's just funny that in this show the most aggressive cop was a black lady. How ironic…
Floe Davila Not that surprising really. Take a look at the Freddy Gray case in Baltimore...
A show on Disney at that...
ERAUPRCWA as a kid I didn't even think race mattered.
ERAUPRCWA May he Rest In Peace.
Disney was real back then. It's sad that they listened to the parents who want to coddle their children from the truth of life. Even the Disney Channel Movies are stupid today.

Please don't put disney descendants in that category is better than HSM
nah they're still good
Man this show has a 90s feel.
It kinda is. Started in 98.
Yup
We could still use a show like this today
Damn this was deep. Disney..what are you doing now?
R.I.P. Lee Thompson Young💕💗💖❤💯

Funny, a Disney show with a social commentary on Black culture.
Leo Thompson's character is just trying to be normal.
Agreed and btw it’s Lee... sorry if it seemed like a dickhead move but again I fed agree with your statement
Great episode with a great message. Wake up World!!!
Michael Mcneil Jr. and what message is that? Just because you're black you're not a criminal? Even after you rob, murder, speed, or sell drugs for a living? Back in the 90's this episode made sense. But we live in a time where you know, facts exist, so this episode is just fantasy.
That's not the message....
Leon's right
Rest in peace Lee Thompson Young.
If he was still alive he would have been perfect for static shock movie
@@viewmaster617and falcon

The Famous Jett Jackson - Lost And Found
I still remember thinking this was important to see, when I was a kid. It reminded me of the privilege I have as a white person and that that is not fair.
Lingering Questions 5 yawn…
Rizzoli And Isles brought me here, and hey this show looks great ! They never showed it in Europe. Pity
Actually they did, it aired on the BBC Kids block "The Spot".
It’s been 5 years since Lee been going. Thanks for everyone commenting
@9:36 it's a bit dramatic to arrest him for banging the phone. but i get the point their trying to make.
banging the phone? ewww wtf wrong w you?
It's sad but black men have been arrested for less.
ShayDale there was no point this was all fantasy.
Francesca Lindley -_- oh god here we go.
I mean they can charge you with something it was generally up to the cop.
6:12 My Wallet
Bruh The radio dude look like kadeem hardison( Dwayne from a different world)

PODCAST
they need to bring back more real shows like this..
Here I miss him
Nice!
@22:32 they low key dissed "Even Steven's" lol
I didn't know that Riley had an older sister. Did you? 👍🏻 if you recognized her appearance in this episode even though bulimia isn't a pretty condition to witness on a regular kid like herself.
This episode shows how African males our view in society.
How did I never know about this show
It seems like the episode titles are out of order - x Food for thought " has Rachel McAdams
Almost forgot they had cellphones like that in the 90's
Not everyone though
Rip
The fact that on of the cops was a black woman is just sad. I'm not saying all cops are bad. My point is ignorence sadly knows no diversity even among themselves.
That’s the lady that voices the 90’s x-men cartoon character Storm
