You are awesome! Many thanks for such a comprehensive lessons! ♥ It would be great to see lessons about GitHub Actions or Gitlab Pipelines or even CI/CD lessons series in future. I'm studying your lessons from Georgia (the country in Europe). Therefore you have thankful fans all over the world. We live in a blessed time!
Asked for something about deployment few months ago and here it is! 🙂 GREAT TOOL! It works and makes easier to understand how an app goes into production env. Amazing work. 👍
Hello Gio, i found your course one week ago, and i would say, thank you so much to bring to me again the energy to study and to focous again in my dreams. Thanks from Brazil 🇧🇷
I've finally deployed yeepeee! Thanks Gio for helping me correct my mess that kept me up all night! I'm learning how little simple errors can be tough to find and correct. I couldn't have asked for a better Php course and teacher. Thanks a lot Gio. From basics to deployment with step by step lesson guides along with on youtube and off youtube assistance. Powerful!!! With your course you've shown that remote teaching can be very impactful. I'll move on to the latest lesson. I'll reserve some comments for the 100th video. God bless Gio, God bless!
Awesome to hear that, that's what this series is all about, learning from the basics & getting your app deployed to production. I'm glad & happy that you've followed along the series from the beginning, great job 💙
Hello Gio, at first I would like to say thank you for the tutorial in PHP. It helped me a lot to reduce my knowledge gap as well as have idea on new features. I hope in future, we will get more contents from you.
What an useful lesson this was Teacher. I really did not know how to put my project to real server. This lesson explained all the things! Thank you GIO for making us to feel like programmers.
Thanks a lot, I've been following this entire series and every step is mentioned, nothing almost skiped. But got difficulties understanding git and github, if you can make a video about it would be awesome.
Hi Geo, I'm with you from Lesson 1 and I hope to complete this series soon and get started Laravel with you Thank you very much for your information You are a great programmer.
Wow. This is simply amazing. To go from learning about syntax and variables to deploying live is exiting. I haven't even done the deployment yet. Just watched the videos and took mental notes. I would really need to clean up my code cause I retained a lot of the classes(files) for the many examples and exercises you taught us throughout the many lessons. I even have more controllers in my index.php and bindings in my App class. I would really need to do a meticulous clean up. Or I'll just duplicate the folder and then clean up a copy cause I think I would like to keep those extra lessons and exercises for some sort of learning reference since I built muscle memory on them. Thanks for this one Gio. I can't help but appreciate. I'm very grateful to you. Lemme get to work!
Great to have you all caught up with the lessons. You can still try the deployment regardless of how many files you have, you can always improve & refactor that and then try redeploying it to see your changes live, thank you 💙
@@ProgramWithGio yes Gio. I'm glad to have almost caught up. One I deploy it will be official (unless they are new videos coming up right now. Which is great). I cleaned up my code already. Will start experimenting when I get this one right.
Been using heroku for almost a decade now. I had experienced the frustration in dealing with shared hosting and setting up an environment on a VPS. Heroku just simply works out of the box.
@@ProgramWithGio Seems cloudways is making it easier to manage different deployment services and I kinda like what they are doing. Gonna try and remember your referral link when I test cloudways.
I have a problem, how do I create the Database and run all the queries because of some hosting platforms, there is a phase of creating the database, importing it, and then running all the queries. Is cloudways going to runs the queries magically behind the scenes? I need some explanations, I presume.
You need to create database on cloudways & then ssh into your server and run migrations manually. Before that you need to create the .env file and put the db credentials there. I showed it in the video
Hey Gio,
Cloudways team is very lucky to have you promoting their services! Thanks again for your hard work!

Can you make video on setting up staging environment. That would be a great help. Thanks
Already did but with Laravel. Search "staging" in my videos and you should be able to find it
Supervisord / Redis, and also setting up SMTP would be helpful too, ☺

Please Add Elastic Search as well it'll be helpful, Thanks 💙
