I have the Glencairns and they work well, but I just ordered the whiskey glass that you liked best. I'll let you know if I like them better. Thank's for the suggestion ! Salud !
Yes!! Those glasses definitely bring out more flavors and aromas for sure. I love them , it quickly became a new favorite. I’m glad to hear you liked them now it’s time to re-taste some of those tequilas on the shelf. Salud! And thank you for your feedback I appreciate it.
I’ve been using the Glencairn glass for tastings at home and a tasting glass at my favourite tequila bar. I really only drink and do tastings of blancos. I came to my own opinion that nosing tequilas is overrated and mainly is only useful for marketing expensive glassware. I recently bought a couple of Viski tequila tasting glasses on Amazon. They weren’t cheap but are quite the departure from the glassware featured in this video. The Viski’s have a wide base to allow vapors to escape the liquid and accumulate in the glass. The mouth of the glass is only slightly smaller and allows you savor the aromas as you sip on the tequila. These glasses are a game changer for me. I use one whenever I want to sip on a fine blanco and savor the taste and the aroma. On the other hand I tried a bad tequila that I had on hand for shots, and it was undrinkable in the Viski glass.
Aroma , smell and odor is responsible for 80-90 % of what we taste , so I do believe glassware is very important , this is based on my personal opinion and research. I do believe there is a lot of marketing bull to sell their products, I don’t listen to that , once again this is based on my personal experience. Thank you for watching and your feedback, Salud!
Great insight on different glassware

Got 4 last night from Amazon. More aromas and more flavors for sure. The tequila opens up more and much faster with the Luxbe glass. I Love it !
