and the camera angle does not make justice to what a play that was, because of the speed and because he was 1 v 3 in a range of 5 metres and another 20 to go until he scores
Bro, how are you? Check The Tuilagi Brothers, they are 3 brothers, freaks of nature. two of them played por Samoa, and the younger one for England. Three beasts, Jonah Lomu style but in modern rugby.
Ches is a good person, in school he refused to go to schools that buys rugby players. He stuck to his friends. He was told by Springboks that he is to small for the big players...he proved everyone wrong when he got his change. In school he did not have this amount of skill but still one of the best. After school the man worked extremely hard to earn his spot. Great friend great person great athlete.
@@tahanayoungngoungou4811Dude's were crying at the end of the games in the final few after a loss. Emotions must run high at that level when you're playing for your country, and he thought he'd cost the team the final game. No shame in it
He was excellent in school already. I played with me for the 1st team when he should have still been playing u/16. His nickname on the back of his jersey was magic feet. Very nice dude and u could see in school already that he has the tools to become something great
They are the Hebreo people the aboriginal of southern Africa. The true owners. They were also called negreo and are still called coloured. They are also called Hottentot Caffre.
I'm a kiwi so obviously I back the All Blacks, but I can admit this guy is seriously good! Being rather short myself, I really enjoy seeing the 'smaller' rugby guys take on the larger guys with no hesitation 💪 Another great smaller guy to watch is "Faf de Klerk - The giant slayer". I'm sure Die Hard Rugby have a clip of him 😊
Lol, pity for you we have more of those in the boks side, but then again, with our style of rugby you're weeded out very quick if you can't do take those guys in south africa
Cheslan Kolbe is 5"6 and 80kg, by far the best wing in the world he is out injured now but will play in WC next year for south africa, he plays his club rugby in France
Kolbe is one of the greatest. What makes him great is that he was considered too small in rugby terms by previous Springbok coaches. He grabbed his opportunity with both hands and showed the world what he is all about! Kolbe is and always will be a legend!
This is my man Kolbe, such a humble guy, down to earth, watched so many live games where he played and I tell you he is blessed with some good rugby skills, shout out to you Kolbe from the Western Cape
We are so lucky as South Africans. We've had some of the best players in the world not just in the winger position but in many others too. One that stands out for me is Bryan Habana. He would be my GOAT on the wing but Cheslin is catching him.
Cheslin Kolbe, Bryan Habana, Faf du Preez, I adore these guys. Underestimate them at your own peril, because even if you don't underestimate them you are still in trouble.
"Best rugby player in the world"? No, I don't think you can really determine that in terms of rugby players. Rugby is a varied game, with many specialist positions. Different skills and attributes are needed for those positions, so an excellent prop - the very best best the world has ever seen - would likely be pretty much useless as, say, a wing, or a scrum half, or a lock. It's like saying a particular running back is the best NFL player. But you can really compare running backs to tight ends to quarterbacks to linebackers, etc. They are different. Apples and Oranges. What we _can_ say for Kolbe, though: he is unambiguously and incontestably on of the very best steppers of all time.
One of my favourite Cheslin Kolbe moments happened after this video was put together: ruclips.net/video/IARFCql7-yk/видео.html Is he the best in the world? Hard to say. There are players in different positions who have different skillsets. Kolbe's a winger, and he's certainly one of the best in his position, if not the best. But the current European Player of the Year is Josh van der Flier, who's a flanker, and while he's a dynamic ball-carrier for a forward, he's mostly recognised for his tackles and turnovers. If you think of Kolbe as like a wide receiver, and Van der Flier as like a linebacker, you wouldn't be far wrong. ruclips.net/video/mHO7hVzrwh8/видео.html
I appreciate your clip aboubt Cheslyn Kolbe, but he is best friends with 'Rambo' aka Eben Etzebeth, no 4. That hurt man. Eben also makes a lot of balls available to try scorers by getting the ball out of gruelling loose rucks, but you didn't see this sir. Siya and Eben works with a plan to get the back row to score tries and have opportunities for drop kicks. We love love love Kolbe, but so do we love our entire team. I bet Siya would respond the same way. Peace brother from a very proud SA.
My suggestion is to see if you can find any videos of Jason Robinson. He played for England and his speed, agility and fearlessness were a pure joy to watch
HI there. 11.30sec...If the video producer had let you watch the next few seconds of that game you would have seen Richie Mountain from the NZ All blacks (who is not a WING) actually make a successful tackle on Cheslea Kobe. But, the editing of the video removed that part.
My boy Flexx, he is the Rugby version of Detroit Lions legend Barry Sanders, with those incredible cartoon like moves, so quick in changing directions, shifty, evasive runner, with a vicious killer jab step, accelerating through when he tears apart the last defender, selling one way, then bursting through the other...
When it comes to going out of bounds Rugby is more like basketball. It is a turnover and the opposing team gets to restart play. The catch is that if you tackle the opposing player into touch you still get the ball. There was the one tackle where you see Kolbe pulling the guy out causing him to make a desperation off load.
Chrslin is the GOAT. Bro inspired me to be a rugby player and I learned how to step by watching his videos and he also from South Africa. He also won the Rugby World Cup on his Birthday
Nah kolbe is brilliant, but if we’re looking at the best player in the world at the current moment, lukhanyo Am is unmatched(I’m South African btw😭we’re really into our rugby)
Our rugby guys don`t wear helmets or dish cloths on their pants, they have slightly padded rugby vests and gum guards. What they also have is GPS devices attached to the rugby jerseys to monitor and revue every move for the after-match revue.
Checking is the best. He scores all the time, defends excellently no-matter their size, takes the high ball, drop kicks very well, place kicks excellently, and has a work rate second to none. He is the best rugby player. Oh, and he's a humble guy. 👍
Yep very very good. One of the best ever. Compare him to the Australian great 'jab stepper' David Campese (should make a very good vid!) To think he only made the 2019 SA RWC squad due to injury, Rassie and others saying he is too small and boy did he show them a thing or two!
Hi I have since he's made his debut for South Africa and he scored his first international try I just loved him I don't know why he is not in the current Springbok team
In any of these highlight vids, you have to understand who the other players (victims) are. 2:13 the bloke being made to look like a fool is Owen Farrell, one of the best backs in the game and renowned for his (dirty) try-stopping tackles. All he can do against Kolbe is lie on the ground and look sad. Joe Marler, the other guy who is nearby, has the excuse of being 240lb of front row muscle, not even in Kolbe's league for speed or agility. 5:55 those two are Aaron Smith and Richie Mo'unga, one of the greatest centre pairings of all time and often holding the starting spots on the All Blacks test rugby team. Kolbe makes them look a bit silly here. 8:34 he puts down Courtney Lawes like it's nothing. That guy is 6'8'' 250lb, and one of the best locks on the planet.
Best player in the world is hard to quantify due to the specialization in the various positions. That said he is certainly one of the best outside backs going.
Ok Mr. Kolbe is 5'7" my bad lol but if some of you actually watch you would know I corrected myself 🤣
that try at min 2:18 was at the world cup final

bauden Barrett?
