As a Jamaican, I would like y’all to know that our contemporary Genres are Dancehall (like what Vybes Kartel, Bounty Killer, Movado, Popcaan) and Reggae (like Buju Banton, Bob Marley & Sizzla). There are older genres and sub-genres like Ska, Rocksteady etc, but no one really makes music to those sounds anymore.
