PERFECT TIMING! We're visiting in about 60 days, coming from Brisbane, Australia. We're doing 5 days at Disneyland/DCA & 2 at Universal plus many other things. Your videos have helped us and we love watching them! They helped is on a massive 4 week family trip there 18 months ago too!
Got our early access passes to Super Nintendo World for this Friday. Can't wait! This will be the first time for me to go to Universal Studios since I went as a kid (circa 1980), when it only had the studio tour.
Great to see a Universal Hollywood video. Excited for the Fast and Furious roller coaster to be completed! Shout out to you and all the RUclipsrs who provide amazing content that helps everyone make their SoCal trips even more special 👍
My family and I were there that morning with ya, didn’t see you but we do walk by in the background of your video haha. Thanks for all the great content. Letting us enjoy the vacation vibes at home.
Great to see how much you can get done with early entry and on a low crowd day! We’ll be there mid November on a Tuesday and got early entry too, so this is super helpful! Thank you for another great video!
I am surprised of how low waits are at Universal Hollywood in this time of the year. We had a 2-entry day ticket (the second for free), so we had a nice and relaxing time without running here and there.
We actually went today for early entry! It’s a Monday, and we were able to go through lines throughout the park quicker than expected. I think the longest we had to wait was 35 min! We were amazed at all the little details inside Mario Nintendo World, it’s a definite must see! 🍄
Thank you for this valuable information. The one time I tried the bangers and mash, I didn't care for it because the links were dry and tough. The Toadstool Mario burger was my favorite at opening but isn't so great now. My favorite now is the brisket or pulled pork sandwiches at Hollywood and Dine.
I went to Universal Hollywood the 2 days after you filmed this video. On Wednesday, my plane arrived a little after 10 AM PST and after the drive to my hotel and the check-in process, I finally got to get in the park at 12 PM. It was surprisingly light that day. I was able to get onto the Mario Kart and Transformers rides without much issues. A lot more people came on Thursday and sadly I didn't get to go on a few of the rides I was vaguely interested in trying. Regardless I had a lot of fun and did all of the things I really wanted to do. If I had the opportunity to go back again, I would. When would you say park attendance is at its lightest? What months and days of the week should I target for future trips?
Happy Birthday to Benji. I hope he has the best day. 🥳🎂🎈🎉 Great vlog. I miss Universal. We did that park a lot when I was little. Probably your kids age.
It would probably not be kind to you. Amy finds she gets sick on a lot of the rides, and I know you have difficulty with stuff like that. It is a fun place to go just for the atmosphere, especially if you like Harry Potter, but the rides would be difficult.
@SoCalDisneyDad it does sadden me. The tram and maybe Mario. If it's like Toy Story. It is a bummer. But great for characters if they still walk around. And people watching.
Thank you for showing how things work with mobility issues. As I've mentioned in other comments, my wife is a full time wheelchair user. I'd be interested to know how early access would work if you have to use the elevator and bus to get from upper to lower lot.
Love this strategy. Would 100% do early access. Question: can you go on the que for Harry Potter but not going on the ride? The ride made me almost sick and dizzy but love the que and being in the castle.
I have visited 7 times in total now. Three times in September, once in July, twice in February, and once in March. I have never needed Express Pass on any of my visits. I doubt you'll need it in October either.
I know they don't work like Disney where you have to book your ticket a head of time. But if you did buy it online, do you know if you just take the code to the gate?
Universal doesn't reveal its hours until the month before, if you're lucky. But if I had to hazard a guess, it will likely open at 9 AM and close at 7 PM.
What are the return times for Toadstool Cafe? Is it almost immediately after scanning the QR or can you return at a later time like lunch time? What would be your suggestion for when to eat there
@@sarahjmv I haven’t done it recently to be able to answer. When we did it, we grabbed a lunch reservation at around 9 AM. So it was possible to choose a later time. But that was over a year ago.
Thanks so much for your universal and Hilton videos!!! We just did 2 days with early entry and OMG all your videos were beyond helpful! I kept saying “so cal Disney dad” said to do this… my family laughed every time I said it bc it became repetitive lol you made our trip amazing esp since our second day was sooooo busy! Thanks again!!!
We got the early entry for Super Nintendo last year. For me it was just a mess…a huge agglomeration and just a few employees scanning us in…I feel they sold a loooot more early entry than they should have. But after watching your video, I would get it again, it seems they learned their lesson or maybe you went on an empty day.
I bought early tickets last year also but to be fair the land was still pretty new, we barely managed to do one ride for Mario Kart. We recently went back in June of this year, got early entry again. We rode Mario Kart two times, got to Toad's Cafe during the early morning hour without reservation, did all the mini games and the secret level, all within the early hour. So muhc more flexible now that moat people have visited Nintendo World. Early ticket is far more worth now than last year.

Perfect timing on this ! We are going the same time we go to Disney. So helpful!!! Hope Benjamin has had a great birthday today 🎉
Yay perfect timing! We are going in 45 days. It’s been 2 years since we have been so definitely need all the tips
Great video as always! Keep up the great work & have a great week!

Thanks for all the helpful information about Early Entry. Hope your family is doing good ❤

Great video.
Honest question: I thought there are 12 rides instead of 10?
Thank you for this video 🔥🔥🤘🏽

@@lisabostrack24 It does spin around, like Toy Story. Perhaps a bit slower. But it still happens.
@@SoCalDisneyDad I can handle Toy Story so Mario would be fine.

Is Universal Studios Hollywood kinda long drive where you live in San Diego 🤔🛣️🚘🚗

I’m sure you could exit. There’s a child swap room right there where you get on the ride that’s also connected to the exit.
@@SoCalDisneyDad perfect, thank you!
I'd like to go to Universal Studios, CA or FL.
do you think its worth getting skip the line on oct 14th? or will it not be that busy?

I heard they added games to Super Nintendo World.. Dont know if that was Orlandos or here
Any idea of I can bring my walker into Super Mario world?
Yeeeeaaaaahhh Baby!

@@MBFF-if7yu I just think it’s less popular now. They used to sell out at least 2-3 weeks ahead of time. Now you can often buy it day of.
