I make 'em a bit differently but thank you. I learned a few things and appreciate your technique! Keep up the great work! Carpenter bees are a menace. Well, at my house, they used to be!
I haul Rough cut lumber down to Galax and got in behind your van. Can’t wait to actually get a little bit of time to watch your videos. I will definitely be making a couple of these. The carpenter bees have done a number on my porch
Thanks for watching. I sell to customer's when I do their log cabins, I have a retail shop in an antique shop and I also sell at festivals too. Thanks for watching and please Subscribe

Not really sure. Maybe if you put a small amount of sugar water in the glass jar. Give it a shot and let me know. Thanks for watching and please Subscribe 🍀🍺
The reason one leg is longer than the other on the staple, is so you can start one leg first, then sink it. But my question is, why can't you just pull the trigger on the drill and drill the hole, instead of pumping 15 or 20 times? I understand the pumping when starting the angled holes, but once they are started, I just pull the trigger until it finds the other hole. Am I doing it wrong?
Yours was the best video I came across on how to make carpenter bee traps. You have a great idea in making two at a time so you can more safely bevel the ends, I'm gonna make me a 4x4x8 worth. And I never heard of scribbing with a finger to measure as you mark a line on a piece of wood, either. I had a bunch of great pointers,
The bees fly up to the top and find there way out. I've seen them in the jar and I see them fly out the same way they got in. hmmm not sure if it's me or the carpenter bees in Colorado
It doesn't work. all the videos of the bees down at the bottom in a death agony is because they were sprayed with Permethrin, then put in the jar otherwise they would just be trapped and flying around
I'm anxious to try your 4-way bee trap, made one very similar about 4 years back. They are very effective! You did a good job of explaining how to make it. Very entertaining.
Thanks I am 13 and going to make these for a chicken swap and hopefully sell these. Hiw much should I sell them for?
Awesome, way to go dude. I sell mine for $15 each or 3 for $40. Thanks for watching and please Subscribe 🍀🍺

My buddy was just behind your van in NC. Lol
Oh yeah, was making a lumber run today! Thanks for sharing!!
Good video, thanks. Quick question, what’s the best way to repair the holes made on my cabin?
Thanks for watching. I typically just caulk the holes, or use wood filler. Thanks again and please Subscribe 🍀🍺
one side is longer due to making it easy to start the staple

What kind of laser printer do you use to do your wood? Where did you get it?
It's a NextWave Shark CNC with their laser attachment. I got it at Woodcraft woodworking store. Thanks for watching and please Subscribe 🍀🍺
You do yours a little different from mine, but it's still the same theory.
I've done this for years and they do work.
Thanks ..
Yes, they do! Thanks for watching and please Subscribe 🍀🍺

The sound and video went off from each other.
Is that on my end or the video?

🤣@Chris-Rife
Really like that very informative
I like that dust net on your saw. Never seen one.
Video too long.
Do not use pressure treated at the Bees can smell the chemicals and will not go in the holes.
They might not prefer it, but they will go into pressure treated wood also.
Beg to differ. Here in Florida they are all over my new treated wood deck and roof overs
Whatever… home made traps, commercial traps… they don’t work
Man land😂😊
Informative......However , you dont really need the "shtick"..... everybody with the "shtick"
Your mouth and sound are a bit off
I thought that was on my end but, guess not

That’s gotta be wrong or a hundred or more video makers are!
