TheConspiredOne I did and i don't think his voice fits the song it's too deep can't hit the higher notes, it is nice and heavy though, i still prefer this one!
My band, oculus actually recorded with the same guy that recorded this cover and we were talking about his vocal range and Dan, the guy who recorded it said that he actually did those higher notes because Chris thought he couldn't hit those notes, but he can
***** You figure I Prevail is going for a much different style, one that benefits from deeper vocals. His voice may not work in the setting of an OG T. Swift song, but a punk cover of said song? Magic.

it's 2022 and this still sounds fresh the best cover version. checked these guys background when they're still morphing to Sea Swallowed Us Whole not a fan of Screamers but when I heard this cover it's screaming with emotion and kick the song to another level.
I don't listen to swift but knew this song would get amazing covers cause it's an amazing song.
I remember past "love" and sometimes need this song to help let all the emotions out to avoid my usual tactic of ignoring it until I snap at someone and have to rebuild a bridge that didn't need to get burned.

lol I wasn't gonna commit until I saw all the negative comments and was shocked cause I reeeaaally liked this cover. Like bruh, I love the original by T-Swift but this is one of the best covers I've heard of it. Also, I don't at all understand how people say the lead sounds like a girl, I personally didn't think he did at all. I thought he sounded like the leads in similar alternative groups and I liked how his voice would shift during certain parts. I'd buy this
