I'm 70 and I've only seen one in person and that was at Dick Guldstrand's shop when he was in Culver City.
This is fantastic. I've always loved these cars. Thanks for sharing this!
Trailer Queen of the Highest Order :). Glorious just the same. Heck, i never even had a Cheetah slot car but loved photos i saw when i was a kid.
Thank you Lou and Fred! I have always been fascinated with the Cheetah ever since I saw the very one you are featuring in this video back in 1964 at Alan Greene Chevrolet in Burien, WA. near SeaTac airport. Being only 10 at the time and no camera, I don't remember there being any wheel flares. But hey, my heart was racing with excitement to see and touch the first race car ever in my life! The roof could have caved in and I wouldn't have noticed. It was a real blessing to see an old friend again. THANK YOU!!!
That was really cool. I'm glad to see that Fred Yeakel. I feel happy
Hi Lou! Thank you for letting me see this rare car! Very unique!
Gorgeous! What an amazing car with an equally amazing story.
That's a really dope ass car one of the best cars I've seen today
I did have that as a slot car and pretty much the same color!
Hi Lou ..great Cheetah and thanks for sharing.
I encountered this car as a kid and never forgot it 😎😎😎😎
I remember the slot cars, do you remember the full size slot car tracks you could go to that were in like a grocery store size place with multiple tracks.
Wow i love those cats it will pass everything on the road except a GAS station!
That’s beautiful. I owned the recreation of this car . From Cheetah Evolution in Ohio. Always have loved these cars. This is incredible
I saw that car being drag raced at Pacific Raceways back when it was new! I believe Jerry Grant's wife was driving it that day. The cars were brand-new at the time and she did a couple of demo passes with it. Alan Green Chevrolet was a local dealership in Seattle, WA.
Fantastic man
Those headers are magnificent.
It is like a Super Seven with a big engine and a lovely skin.
🇺🇸 Oh My what a treasure
This race car is unknown to me, very interesting. Hope Fred wasn’t cheated on the price he paid for his Cheetah. A good story Lou.
