For twenty five years I've been studying things within this book. In a sense it has validated my struggle. Greatest book I've ever listened to.

My first was Rise of Superman.
Then read read Flow. Then I read Stealing Fire. Many books I've consumed in my life seem to have lead me to these three books.
I am currently listening to Brave New World by Aldous Huxley while I read it. First time I've done this and it's incredible. Compression goes up, time I spend on the book is reduced.
Helps vocabulary in recognition and pronunciation of words not familiar with. I recommend it.

Ah, finally! Stuff of my soul! Thank you for making this audiobook so available. Looking forward to listening to the rise of Superman next!! (First time I am listening to audiobook, at all...)
The difference between out loud , (wether inside or outside of your head) versus reading without that... Also flow.

Me too! My first audio book. I worked for a rogue neuropsych from 2001-2012 when he passed...
I wish he was alive today to see his legacy of getting into alpha states with neurofeedback become the new normal.

Way waaay better would be to have the links to chapter separations... In this way we who are practicing reading/listening with such amazing material, could enhance our development tho

But... yeh. If that nagging, defeatist, always-on voice in our heads goes hardcore with an altered conscious state, and we don't clarify issues and thoughts before our first drop... we might get 10 hours of bad baaad non-stop tripping before getting to write the first paragraph of our own and personal gospel!
Or what do you, beutoful people in search of answers think?

Can't believe there's less than 50 comments(Mar. 2021) on such a well composed contemporary psychonaut manual/history/guide... I feel like it just glazes over the true depth of these life changing/reality opening experiences and the abilities that stay with us afterwards, but I'm guessing this is too keep it objective and mainstream so it can reach more ears... Great book.

Covers some interesting stuff, but I'm disappointed. I listened to some of the interviews Jamie has done and thought this would be awesome. Instead it just reads like another *MURRRRRRICA* _"Follow these 10 rules to get rich quick"_ book lol. The core info is very compelling but the packaging is shit. This will probably go down great in America and countries that are becoming Americanised, but it's a huge turn off imo. Even when he was going through his list of places they went to "all around the world" 95% were in the US lol. That's not all around the world friend

Loved the book. At the same time, he was completely wrong about his retelling of the Moses story. Moses went back up Mount Sinai and Then came back down with an exact duplicate of the 1st set of 10 Commandments so we do know exactly what was on those tablets unlike John Morman.

No, they weren't ready for the higher law so were given a lower or lesser law to prepare them a bit longer. They weren't ready to meet God face to face, although were given the opportunity. They wanted Moses to do it all for them.
