Forgive me, but I don't understand why you say this is insulting and the correlation between this show and the Golden Girls.
@@ofthedifference I wondered why you would say I thought the show was insulting, no it is not insulting, the characters know how to cleverly insult other people in a comedic fashion. That is what makes it funny. And you watched Golden Girls and don't know Sophia Petrillo? Granny and Sophia are elite, gold standard insulters and it is hilarious.
@@moorek1967 Your original comment said (and I quote you): "This was comedy gold insulting before Golden Girls" Because you, yourself, said it was insulting, there is no reason for you to wonder why I asked you what you meant by calling it "insulting" - it's because you did call it insulting! I did not say I watched Golden Girls, I only said the two shows were not similar. Granny did not strive to insult people; she simply spoke the truth - if the people felt insulted by what she said, it's because Granny's truth hit close to home, but she didn't strive to insult others for the sake of insulting them. The other show I can't say cause I only saw it a few times. I do agree Beverly Hillbillies was hilarious.
@@ofthedifference Really, you need some English reading lessons. I did NOT say the show itself was insulting, I said the shows have characters who insult in a very funny manner. Insult does not mean necessarily to be rude, it just means that the characters take the flaws of other characters and points them out so that a point is made. You act like I said they were terrible. THAT is the reason why I said that, NOT because the show itself is insulting. Geesh, what parts are you have trouble understanding?
