Before I lost my vision, I never really got into virtual reality, but that’s not to say that I did use to enjoy VR videos on RUclips. I can still sense light, but I don’t really have anymore usable vision. A blind or visually impaired person finding love in virtual reality of all things is quite ironic, but I guess I can kind of understand how that may work. That would probably work better than finding someone on social media or dating apps and websites based off how poorly online dating went for me just by personal experience. Let’s just say there’s a lot of crazy people or people who see blind people as pray when you go on social media or dating websites to look for someone and I never got to the point of meeting any of those people I have met online in person. Even though it’s weird and probably unconventional and not to mention pretty ironic meeting someone through virtual reality, it’s probably one of the better options for a blind person to meet someone special. I’m more of a meet that person face to face or IRL now just to see if i’m even able to trust them so, I guess you can say that I rather keep it old school when it comes to dating, but that’s the kind of mental and emotional damage online dating can do to you. Imagine if someone created a virtual reality designed specifically for blind and visually impared people can date, I don’t think you could call it virtual reality anymore, maybe you would have to call it virtual sound or something which sounds stupid, but that would be hilarious if that did happen. I did get a kick out of this. LOL!
