  • There are a lot of people out there finding and buying coins to flip to make money. I wouldn't recommend investing too much time looking for a needle in a hay stack but coin roll hunting and just looking through your change can be fun. Face it, treasure hunting is always a good time. In order to increase your odds you need to know what to look for and that's where my videos come in.

    That 1955 looked like it had legit doubling on the obverse AND the reverse. But, the submitter must not have known or realized because they didn’t also opt for variety designation.. which would’ve greatly increased the value.

      It's hard to be sure based on the quality of the pictures but that looks like machine doubling to me. Good eye though! And yes, you have to let the grading company know look for the specific error if you think you have one otherwise they won't necessarily look for it and designate it.

      Yes, dimes and quarters 1964 and earlier were silver. Good luck!
